Tim (the bassist) is from Texas. The second vocalist is from Georgia (Austin). The other three in this one are all from Minnesota. When Chris left (cowboy hat) he was replaced by an Alabama boy, Adam Chance who is known as Chance since Adam Rupp (Chris's brother and the beat boxer) is the 'first' Adam . Both Tim and Austin now live in Nashville. Rob and Adam (and Chris) still live in Minnesota. Chance lives in LA.

Tim (the bass who started the song) arranged this song when he was 19. Pretty cool, huh? Tim is from Texas and Austin (2nd lead) is from Georgia. The others are from Minnesota. Home Free is known for great harmonies. They have great Christmas music and if you want great harmonies try Auld Lang Syne, their song for New Years. Home Free are experts at knowing just how much to "add" to a song -- or not. This is so gorgeous. The bell tones. The waterfall "fall". The fabulous harmonies. It is kind of amazing how mesmerizing they are just standing there singing.

Wasn't that beautiful? Just a simple vocal hymn of rejoicing. We know Tim can shake the rafters with his power, but he sang that first verse almost like a lullaby, with the other 4 bringing up the harmonies behind him. the Austin just ringing in the end. As you said, like you'd hear in church, a lovely 5 person choir. Another reactor stopped to figure out exactly how high the lowest voice was in that amazing 'high' chord, and I wish I could recall who it was so I could go back and check what the note was.

This and Do You Hear What I Hear are 2 of my favorite 'classic' Christmas songs, I could listen to their version of both 365. I never really knew Mary Did You Know when I was younger, but Pentatonix and Home Free are tied for me on that one (it's the differences that make it difficult to pick one over the other. ) I am a pagan, but I love great music.... Home Free's cover of *My Church* is a non-christmas song that I absolutely love and I get the sentiment of it quite well. ❣

Tim, the first lead and home free's bass, is from east Texas, hence the twang which he can hide when he wants. Austin, the second lead is from Georgia also has a beautiful twang when the song calls for it. Adam the baritone is from Alabama, Rob, a tenor(beard) is from Minnesota as well as beatboxer Adam who sang on this one, no beatboxing necessary!
This *is* a beautiful version. I love Home Free as well as VoicePlay and Pentatonix. Speaking of VoicePlay, their cover of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters” is just awesome: dynamic, powerful, amazing harmonies and vocals that truly honors the original while making it their own. Check it out, man.

Home Free excels in this performance. They are so good. Btw I looked through your playlists and Sabaton and Nightwish, but no Dan Vasc. I think you may enjoy his work. He released O Holy Night last thursday. Garuanteed different than you ever heard before and in my opinion one of the best versions ever😊
