First time hearing John Butler “Zebra” Reaction | Asia and BJ 

John Butler is an Aussie hero, and a darn nice chap to boot.

Yeah. John Butler Trio is the duck's guts. The man (John) can seriously play, 6 string, 12 string, slide, you name it. Other great tracks: Ocean (instrumental,) Wade In The Water, Funky Tonight, Better Man.

Being an Aussie I'm stoked you guys discovered JBT 👍

Ok... backing up the other Aussie folks here... JBT is a guitarist not a singer and probably could've been way more "famous" but stayed independent to this day! Respect brother!

John Butler Trio is funky af. Saw them live and they were awesome. I also recommend The Cat Empire as another fantastic band.

Gov Did Nothin' is my favorite JBT song.

Has a bluesy funky feel. Awesome.

😇 😈 😂 Glad you enjoyed John Butler Trio. They're a true trio; guitar, upright bass, and drums/percussion. Got to meet John Butler 20+ years ago when they were touring in the US. Took a photo together at Bonnaroo. Several years later he autographed the photo. They're a very down to earth, kind, and socially conscious band.

First heard JBT around 2001 when they did Home is where the heart is.. Still a daily listen
