I agree with you fully. I like watching a lot of the reaction videos on RU-vid and a lot of them tend to keep stopping and starting and talking more than actually playing the video. Whereas K tends to only stop it maybe once or twice give a little funny remark and then after the video she will then talk about it. I love that about her. Take care of yourself.
It was a different time back then. Glam rock was all the rage. So men wore women’s clothes. Just take a look at the great, late David Bowie. He wore women’s clothes and his music was fantastic. Freddie Mercury, the legend wore women’s clothing. to me it didn’t matter so long as the music was good. Excellent comment and please take care of yourself.
@@101scetchBowie's fashion choices we're away to make himself over, something that he would like to do throughout his entire career and something he was very good at doing. Think about all the years, way back in the early times when Bowie was just finding his footing and style, there are only a few other rockers out there that were a bit more wilder than him in clothing, Steven Tyler, I'm probably lots of other ones that I can name but I'm a generation X so no names are coming to mind
😂😂😂. I am so sorry for laughing but when I read your comment and you said PURDY it’s just reminded me of the movie Deliverance. LOL. great comment and take care of yourself.
This was Steve’s revenge song to a girlfriend who cheated on him. Moral of the story don’t cheat on your singer song writer boyfriend or he will write a song and call you out on it!
So now I know where Taylor Swift got it from. LOL. That’s an awesome fact that I didn’t know so thank you very much for that. Please take care of yourself.
Hey K, Interesting fact for you: When Journey recorded this song, it's based on a real-life experience that had happened to lead vocalist Steve Perry. Steve wrote this song in reference to an ex-girlfriend whom he'd been faithful to, that had decided to cheat on him
@101scetch Yeah, back before he started performing with Journey and was working in a recording studio, he'd been in this relationship with this woman and was faithful to her, he'd come home early from work and she wasn't home and later he'd seen her getting out of a corvette that pulled up to his building and saw his girlfriend kissing the guy that was driving her home and when he'd asked her what that was about, she tried to play it off like he didn't see what he thought he'd seen and he'd essentially wrote this song in retaliation for her infidelity
When it comes to the shirt, think Kimono. Many back in the day liked a Kimono style cause they were airy and comfortable. Would def give some Lovin', Touchin' and Sqeezin' to Steve and Neal the guitarist...Ooooo, what Journey that would be, lmao. 😜😜🔥🔥 Thanx sis, Muah 😘Stay groovy, Peace
OMG K Shavon! This video came out when I was like 15 years old, and I didn't even notice his blouse (it was the late 70's, early 80's, what can I say?), but now that you mention it...what I would have given at that time to see Valerie Bertinelli wearing that same blouse!! Love you're reactions, as always!
Love this song and yes in the 70-80s clothes were fair game. and steve perry is looking good in this one 😁. Separate ways and any way you want it are great songs
I saw Journey in 1982 at their very peak on Escape Tour. Loverboy opened for them and the whole show was absolute fire. Hard to find a more professional band in the world. I like the Greg Rollie days better, but Jonathan Cain wrote many great songs as well.
You know? You have such good energy that when I am depressed I go in to see your reactions and they change my day. You are such a beautiful person! I wish I could meet you in person. I thank you with all my heart ❤️ God bless you! Greetings from Tandil, Argentina! 🇦🇷🤗
Journey actually had 2 lead singers in the band Obviously Steve Perry was the main vocalist at this time and with his incredible voice why wouldn’t he be. The other was the original vocalist / Keyboardist Gregg Rolie in this video. Gregg has a completely different style but paired well with Steve , they did a handful of songs switching off lead vocals together Check them out here or on your own
Journey…… after you’re done with “Lovin,’ Touchin,’ Kneepads”….. maybe check out….. Who’s Cryin’ Now Any Way You Want It Ask The Lonely Only The Young Lights Girl Can’t Help It Be Good To Yourself Stone in Love Still They Ride Keep up the great content

Hi sweetheart. Man alive! I haven’t heard this song in decades. I am a bit of a Journey fan so I know pretty much all this songs. Absolutely fantastic and once again you have made me laugh and brightened up my day and today I really needed that. So thank you so much. You are an angel. I think I could talk to you all day long about music and pretty much any topic because you are such a lovely lady. I call you a lady because that’s how I see you. You’re not just a woman, you are a lady. Thank you once again for a great video, and I really look forward to the next one. Please take care of yourself and blessings to you from across the pond.❤
@@kshavon3098 hi sweetheart. I’m not from London. I live in Weymouth, Dorset. That is where they had all the watersports in the last Olympics. So I live right near the ocean. LOL. Take care and blessings to you.
@@kshavon3098 that’s not a problem at all. A lot of people from other countries naturally assume when you tell them that you live in the UK that you live in London. LOL. ❤️
Hey K Shavon! You've gained a new subscriber!!! I absolutely love you energy and your reaction to this video and all your others! Might I suggest reacting to the video entitled, "Journey - Lights & Stay Awhile (Live in Osaka 1980)" It's two different songs from one show. I think you'll LOVE that one! Especially the second song, you just gotta listen to the lyrics on that one! ❤😍❤
No matter what might be happening in my life & no matter my mood you ALWAYS make me smile 🤓thank you dear &’please keep em coming…..fyi -check out “Call Me a Dog” by Temple of the Dog 🖤Chris Cornell gets it in on that 1 🤤🤘🏻
My dad dated the exec of a major label, hung out with steve perry once. Didnt like the guy cause he liked em young. Said he couldnt fathom all these clearly legal, gorgeous women and Steve wanted the 16 year olds.
Welcome to the late 1970s and early 1980s: you could wear whatever you wanted and no one was going to judge you for your fashion choices. Lastly, the Na na na at the end is the schoolyard taunting where you make fun of a person when they lose.
Well back in the day guys wore such TIGHT PANTS there was NO DOUBT so they could whatever TF they wanted on top we were looking at their faces and their package...
Loved your reaction as always. Maby you could react to ’ It could have been you’ from the album ”raised on radio” from 1986? Loved that song when it came out at 18 years old. Maby because of my broken heart at the time😢. But still it’s a great song 😍..!
You were EXACTLY right! You ARE smart AND funny, charismatic, charming, entertaining, beautiful - never stop being your wonderful self :) This is one of my favorites of Journey, so much fun to sing to. Brings me back to that period of time, the summer of "79. I was 7 and all I did was listen to the radio (it was always on, everywhere, back when radio was still good), roller skate and sing, besides, of course, watch the Saturday night line up of Dance Fever, Solid Gold and The Love Boat :) Everyone at the roller rink would shout out the "Na na na na na" part when this would play, I remember that vividly!
Can you just react to the song? It was 1979. Guys and girls both unbuttoned their shirts and tied them up at the bottom. What does it have to do with the song? What about Steve's range, or his channeling of Sam Cooke, or the bluesy guitar solo during the "na-nas', or the driving bass during the outro?
