This song is actually a mashup of 4 previous songs : Make A Wish, 90s Love, Work It, and Raise The Roof. that's why you're familiar with some of the beats/lyrics ^^ and there are 23 of them. the youngest (Jisung) was having injury so he didn't participate in the dancing. But he was there at the beginning of the video (face shot)

"make a wish", "raise the roof" (a B-side track from their resonance album), "90's love", "work it". They gathered together as whole 23 member group to show off their talents once again and show that it doesn't matter if they have different sub unites, they are ONE AS NCT and will never stop and will grow bigger and bigger. They've done this once before back in 2018. They released a performance video "black on black" with 18 members. (5 members were added during the past 2 years now they're 23)

I love anything NCT so was going to watch all of your reactions of them anyway, but your energy! Your enjoyment of this is contagious, love it!

First time watching your reaction and I’m subscribing. The guy who started the rapping when you first paused with the blonde hair wearing gold is the Taeyong and the overall leader for all 23 (24 if you join lol) NCT members and main leader for NCT 127 He’s also one of the main rappers and dancer and writes/produces some of their songs and all of his lyrics for his parts. Also 4 of the guys in this (Taeyong, Mark, Ten, and Lucas) are in the super group SuperM with Kai and Baekhyun from EXO and Taemin from SHINee in case you didn’t know since I see you’ve reacted to them. Would love to see you get into NCT and react to more of their stuff because they have a really unique music style that you won’t see any other groups do and its also why some people don’t like them because their music can be loud and intense with unique beats, but thats my fav thing about them. I agree about a lot of American mainstream music and mumble rap being crap, it sounds similar and can get boring fast(at least to me personally) which is how i found kpop a couple yrs ago when looking for a change and new music and it doesn’t disappoint. If you ever need NCT recommendations let me know and I'll leave em 😊

This track is basically a mashup of some of the NCT U songs they just put out, so if you recognize the lyrics it's probably because you heard the original track before. This track contains verses from Make A Wish, 90's Love, Work it & Raise The Roof...(& yes this is NCT, the full group of 23 members.) Also, you asked about how hard it must be to get this many people on cue with each other...and to answer that question, you would have to know about the Korean entertainment industry itself and how it functions. In my estimation, there's a fundamental difference in philosophy when comparing the American entertainment industry to the Korean entertainment industry. In America, record companies "scout" for talent; they send professional talent scouts out to various bars, clubs, open mic nights, talent show competitions, etc., to find the best talent to sign them to their label. Conversely, in Korea they don't scout for talent(at least not in the same way,) they *TRAIN* people to become talented. They do have scouts, but the scouts aren't necessarily looking for a person that already has skill. They're looking for a pretty/handsome face; one that they can train so that you have the full package: talent _AND_ good looks. These companies will recruit 2 to 3 dozen trainees at a time & put them through a rigorous military-like training program with professional dance instructors, vocal coaches, personal trainers, dietitians, fashion designers, stylists, professional makeup artists, and much more, all in-house under one roof, to produce the most highly skilled entertainers possible. So yeah, these guys likely knocked out the choreography for this video in under a week. 😁👍👌
