Yeah man! Love this band. I've been playing their stuff in clubs for ages. And Cristina is one of the most positive and sweetest people you can ever hope to meet.

Another nice reaction mate thanks. The female vocalist is Cristina Scabbia she is in the top ten gothic metal singers. Her voice is unique. Many female singers talk about her with respect, someone said her high notes when she singing are unique. Not many singers can do it like her. Even on one interviewe answering the question how she make this high notes, she answered with smile,, i don't know how its just happened just works i never practice to do it. When the moment in the song comes its just happened, sometimes I'm surprised by my self".

Wow, that's interesting. I've never heard (or read) the interview you mentioned but it's pretty cool that she can do it without even knowing how! I have to say that I looove her lows too. Her tone is quite unique.

Wow! It's like a long forgotten flame starts to lighten up again. I stopped listening to them in the early 2000. Just lost them out of the eyes. I think I will have to give them a closer look again 🤘🏻

The original formation was from 1994 (Sleep of Right) and then Ethereal. They changed their name to Lacuna Coil in 1999 when they signed with Century Media. Cristina was then Marco's (bass/keyboards) girlfriend and was asked to come record a song together. The rest is history.

I am not sure if you have already heard it (since you posted this video a while ago), but I know you like Tarja's voice and there is a song from the last Tarja's album featuring Cristina Scabbia, the song is called "goodbye stranger", think you're gonna like it 😁❤️

I like that you're enjoying the bass. I'm a huge bass fan 😃 (I used to play it too, but I was terrible...) Lacuna Coil have been together for a very long time now, with some lineup change during the years. Andrea (male singer), Cristina (female singer) and Marco "Maki" (bassist) are the three constant members, let's put it this way. I was supposed to see them live (along with Alter Bridge!) in early July but the concert was postponed for obvious reasons. I hope to catch up them again next summer! My suggestions now: "Our Truth" (Official Video) and "Blood, Tears, Dust" (The 119 Show - Live In London). Thanks! 🤘
