50 years later...this performance Stands Up to everything that came after....no gimmicks, tricks, mixers, or digital enhancements...these men were pure genius!

Robert Plant (Lead Vocals) Jimmy Page (Guitar) John Paul Jones (Bass) John Bonham (Drums). Each on the top shelf of music ability. Absolute legends....each of them.

My top two bands are Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd!! PURE TALENT!!

Robert Plant' stage presence is a mesmerizing show in itself.

This is 50 years old... half a century! Man do I feel old.

One of the myriad of brilliant moves that Zeppelin and Peter Grant did was to record this performance as a movie. The cinematographic production values and especially high fidelity sound really enabled Zeppelin to shine like never before, and since.

I was at this concert in 1973!!

Aren't they magnificent? Do more live performances!! I was a teen in the 70s...I was 13 in 1973!! Best time of my life! Do Kashmir from 1979 at knebworth...you will love it!

I love your first reaction. "I doesn't feel old." Music that is timeless never feels old. ALL of Led Zeppelin's music catalog is timeless. They are one of those bands that didn't record one single bad song. Shinedown, a newer band, is another great example. Every single song both bands recorded was amazing. Zeppelin will never be deleted from my playlist. Timeless.

It's hard to go wrong with Led Zeppelin.

Yes it does sound old, because it’s absolutely fantastic, nobody before at the time or since has been as great as Led Zeppelin. These 4 amazing men are the GOATS of their crafts, & together they are the GODS of music, of all genres. I’ve loved them for about 50 years, & I was a couple years late to this magic. Every song they play is amazing, even the couple that aren’t my favorites, this is my favorite live song they preform.

And that’s how icons do it!!😅 So glad you got to enjoy this!

OMG by the way hello beautiful baby girl. Music history: Jimmy Page formed a new rockband The New Yardbirds in 1968 comprised in Led Zeppelin. Original Jimmy Page would have the singer Terry Reid in his group. But Terry Reid was on a tour with the Rolling Stones. So the second choice is Robert Plant. And the rest is history. I was 21 when I saw them live in Mobile Al around 1973. They played for 3 hrs straight! Those were some magical times back then..so many great bands to see❤ we truly thought it would never end. Love your reaction

Zep never gets old! If I was forced to choose a fave song by them it would probably be this one. If you ever listen to the studio version, check out Bonzo's drum rolls. Outstanding! Page's guitar takes me to places beyond my imagination. Can't get enuf of these guys!

I know it is hard to believe BUT they have an even better version of this live song from the Song Remains the Same concert movie, search for that when you can, they played MSG several times in 1973, what you just saw is one of the other days that did not make the movie. If anyone asks you going forward to play Led Zeppelin live in MSG 1973, look for that song video from the movie, they picked the right ones for it for sure. Any Zeppelin is great but that concert movie is their best to that point. Great reaction and enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

I’ll never forget watching How the West Was Won as a kid on dvd and rewatching MSG for this exact take. (Early 2000s). So cool to see it resurfacing now and seeing music fans of all genres appreciate and enjoy the genius of this song. ❤
