The crayon is actually called a Chapman Stick. It's a touch guitar played by Tony Levin. They come in various configurations as far as numbers of strings but Tony is famous for playing it for years in King Crimson and Peter Gabriel's solo band.

All the members in this group are in Dream Theater. All except Tony Levin of King Crimson, the Bass player, or should I say, Chapman Stick. Dream Theater without there singer or bass player. DT side group. The keyboard player Jordan Rudess, went to Julliard at 8.5 years old. John Petrucci is in the G-3. (3 greatest guitarist). and Mike Portnoy has formed and played in at least 7 Super Groups that he helped start, and Avenge Sevenfold. Modern Drummer 12 times.

It's basically three guys from Dream Theater and one kinda insane gentlemanly Chapman Stick player, they went to the studio and they came up with two "Hey, look at us, we can play really good"-albums.

Three members of. Liquid Tension Experiment are also in a band called Dream Theater. You should check out Dream Theater. Liquid Tension Experiment has released three studio albums of instrumental music. All three albums are worth getting

Dear ladies. Now you should try and listen to Dream Theater. You could start with one of their shorter and recent pieces (choose the official videos), f.ex. The Alien (Grammy winner) or Untethered Angel (here you can see the musicians - the drummer being Mike Mangini, now substituted by Mike Portnoy, who also was in the band earlier). If you want longer pieces try some from their live concert in The Boston Opera House, f.ex. Illumination Theory (with vocals) or The Dance of Eternity (instrumental),
