I saw the “Ramones” and the”Runaways “ in Fort Worth in 73 or74. It was a great concert!

One of the many great songs that Lita Ford released as a solo artist in the 70's she was apart of the first all female rock band called "The Runaways" with another big female solo artist now Joan Jett

LITA FORD. The First Lady of METAL. And oh damn she had it going on in that tight leather. Man-o-man. her duet with Ozzy-Close Your Eyes is a must- Reaction. Also her awesome video-Gotta Let Go- is also required VIEWING. Just seeing her in that black leather is enough. Then she tops it by playing a cool solo. Back In The Cave is also a nice LITA tune.

Lita in The Runaways had a whole different sound--think KISS-meets-Black Sabbath played by 17-year-old girls! It was so threatening to people at the time that the group only achieved success after they all went off and did their own things.

Love Lita, love this song. She had other great tunes like "Back to the Caves", "Falling In and Out of Love", "Lisa", and "If I Close My Eyes Forever" with Ozzy. Also, her cover of Alice Cooper's "Only Women Bleed" is pretty good. If you want to check out her look-a-like, Dora Pesch fronted a band called Warlock. "All We Are" is a tune of theirs worth list'ning to. By the way, that color looks great on you.

It makes me sad that im so old ,lol . The 80s introduced cable tv and music television. The 70s was great but the 80s was the 1st time ww could watch our music without going to a live show. The problem with MTV is ww had to watch it all day because there was no schedule, lol ..random videos meant we had to wait a long time to see our favorite song most days. Cable was cool but at tha5 time we couldn't record tv, and we still had to watch things at designated times.

I love Lita Ford. I remember her cover of Alice Cooper's Only Women Bleed. Her version was great! When Alice Cooper first released it the label changed the title to "Only Women" because the full title was too risky....in the sense of implying menstruation. However the song is actually about domestic abuse and how a woman suffers and feels during all of that. Keep in mind this song was released by Alice in 1975 before women stood up to men and back then when he did this song it was done by a man in the perspective of a woman. Alice Cooper wrote that to show people what women go through and make awareness

Lita Ford is considered the number one female guitarist. It always bugs me they took her from a pretty Tom Boy who rocked to a bleach blond and instead of focusing on her musical abilities they sell her as an object.
