I continue circling back to this reaction. This is still the reigning champion of Lovebites reactions, it never gets old. Unfortunately, they don't react to too much current Lovebites videos. These are two of my favorite reactors!

This is the second song of the concert, drummer Haruna performed the entire 105 minute concert with big smile. Haruna seems to have endless energy, standing barely 4' 9", she is literally a pocket nuclear reactor.

It's been 1 year and this is still the best reaction to any Lovebites song (and one of the best reactions to any band in general) I've ever seen. I never get tired of seeing it and it's already about 20 times.

Marty Friedman, formerly of Megadeth, was the first to see the potential of japanese music. Since moving to Japan, he has collaborated with many different japanese musical genres.

I discovered these incredible ladies a few days ang and I haven't been this excited about a band since I discovered Nightwish. I know what I'm going to be doing during my Christmas break this year, binge watching, listening to everything they have ever done.

I've watch at least 100 reactions to Lovebites. This is, by far, the greatest reaction of all times! I'm a guitarist too, and when I first saw them, about two years ago, I let out a very slow, OMG!!! They have earned the right to drop the all female crap off of their reviews! I honestly don't know of too many bands that are as talented at every single position. I was never really into this type of music, their looks caught my attention, their songs and talent, have made me a fan.

Finally you get to Lovebites, im intrested to see your reactions. And today they released a new video called "glory to the world" from their forthcoming EP, Glory, glory to the world.

At this time the official video has 2.2 million views, and this reaction has 600K which is 1/3 of the original. Crazy

When reacting to LIVE songs. Keep in mind that the band is just 4 years old. Only in their latest concerts they have good sound quality, so pick LIVE performances either from Five of a kind DVD, which is 2020 Zepp Divercity concert, or if the song can not be found from that concert, then try Daughters of the Dawn concert in 2019. I also think pretty much all of their songs (except Crusade), Live performances are BETTER than Musiv Videos. oh man did you ever choose the right vid - and the right band. literally every song will blow your mind especially live. this is a true japanese girl supergroup with most members 28 - 30 and veterans of previous girl's metal bands. they are all insane on their instruments but how about the guitarists midori on the left and miyako on the right who also is a world class pianist ? warp speed shredders

Japan rock/metal scene is like a cesspool with awesome talent that some of them eclipsing other western bands to shame. They said rock is dead but not in Japan though, they still carry the torch on their own.

Hi, glad you took the Lovebites suggestion, however you ain't seen nuthing yet. I am surprised that you are both surprised that an all female band can be as good as Lovebites. I first heard them in 2017 after their first gigs and realized back then that they were world beaters and as good as, if not better than, many male bands. All members of Lovebites are insamely talented musicians at the top of their game. and while looking like supermodels on the catwalk, Lovebites' members (except Haruna the drummer) perform a full 90 minute plus set, playing their instruments, moving around the stage, headbanging and changing the pedals on their effects boards while wearing four inch high heels and do not even break sweat. They are definitely the real deal. I recommend 'Break the Wall', 'Edge of the World', 'We the United'' 'Swan Song'from the Zepp Diver City, Tokyo concert in 2020 and 'Epilogue', 'Scream for Me and 'Above the Black Sea'' from the Daughters of the Dawn conceert recorded in Tokyo in 2019 'for starters. You can't go wrong with anything from these two concerts. You should also check out another all female Japanese metal band called NEMOPHILA - I recommend 'RAITEI', 'SORAI' or OIRAN.

Thank you for reacting earlier than planned. They are amazing. The guitarist at the right, Miyako, is even a better pianist. All 3 guitarists, Miyako , Midori and Miho are perfect. The drummer Haruna is a beast on the drums. The vocalist, Asami, is very special. This all makes the band unique. All songs are good, especially the live ones from the Japanese concerts.

Excellent reaction! As a guitar player myself, I can provide some insight as a fan. Miyako (Dean guitar) powers an Orange cab with a Peavey 6505. She's modified the Dean with boutique made "Ovaltone" capacitors. Midori (ESP E-II Horizon) plays through a Kemper pushing a Marshall cab. She just changed the stock Seymour Duncans out for Fishman Fluence just recently (to sound more like Miyako perhaps?). I recently picked up the same model guitar second hand. I tweeted her a little snippet of me playing it and she posted a complimentary response (I'm not worthy!!!). So sweet of her to do that. They list Iron Maiden as one of their major influences, so Asami is going for a female Bruce Dickinson vocally. Oh, and they've toured with Dragonforce.

I have watched this reaction many times and it is still one of the best and most amusing reaction I have seen. This bunch are awesome.

Lovebites are formed 2016 from ex Destrose band members Miho the bassist and composer ( she is the band leader) and Haruna the drummer ( best female power metal drummer in the world at the moment she is 4.9 high) the other members are Asami the vocalist and songwriter ( she was R&b and jazz singer before to join the band) Midori the lead guitarist and backing vocals with the blonde hair ( one of the fastest female guitarists in the world at the moment she is a demon on the guitar) and Miyako the other lead guitarist, pianist and composer ( she is the main composer of the band). Lovebites are the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment. Their last album Electric pentagram was nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. They are influenced by 80s metal. Miho the bassist mentioned once in interview- we are here to make something memorable. They want to step closer to their inspiration bands like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween, Metallica and Slayer. Guys you just open the pandora box. Also if you sow they play on the high heels. Believe me it's real ( you mentioned have to see them live) i know by my self I already sow them twice in Wacken Germany 2018 and UK 2019 year. Lovebites always are with high heels on the stage, or on the video clips. They like to touring in Europe. Even Miho said before if she move from Japan some day the place which she preferred to live is London UK. Guys if you want to see more action from them just check the song Rise some hell. An incredible band and a prolific band. Since starting in 2017 they have three full albums, two live albums and two, soon to be three EPs. Their next EP comes out in less than a month and just today they dropped the video for the song Glory to the World. Before the pandemic they were doing the European festival circuit and blowing minds everywhere. Being from the US I want them to be huge and come here to perform someday when we can leave our houses.

FUN FACT about Haruna, the drummer: She is only 149cm and holds the end of the sticks inside her palms to get the right punch, therefore she also uses special drummer gloves that provide a better grip. She is a monster behind those drums. I love her :)

I understand this is currently the most viewed Lovebites reaction video on RU-vid! It’s more than deserved because you understand how hard it is to make that level of live recording and what level musicians need to be to be able to do that.

Yeah, I too am in awe of how casual the drummer seems to be when playing. The whole band is ridiculous talented! I just picked up this band recently on the recommendation from a friend and I picked up one of their albums from a local CD store (yes, there's one left) and I make sure the neighbors listen to it too.

I love watching people's reactions to Lovebites hearing them for the first time and this is one of my two favorites. The bewilderment, the laughing, the admiration... just perfect.

Your reaction was just like mine. "Really?" Then i scrambled to hear more. Im still blown away at how good they really are!!! When Destinies Align really showcases both guitarists.

Isn't it fun finding out that there is an incredible music scene going on in Japan right now? Band Maid and Lovebites are a great introductions to the J-Rock/J-Metal scene. The coolest part is you haven't even scratched the surface!

Watching first time listeners to any Lovebites song has become a hobby. I love the reactions. At first, you see these beautiful ladies, all dressed up like there are going to a party. Then the music starts and BAM!!! They punch you right in the face with their blistering metal. Soon you come to realize they are all master musicians with an amazing singer. Eventually, you will listen to another one of their songs and by the time that song ends, you are deep in the rabbit hole and you are stuck in the world of Lovebites. I got into them about a year ago and haven't stopped listening. Any song you pick is a winner. But the ones I like to suggest to new listeners are Thunder Vengence, Break The Wall, The Crusade, and what I think is a masterpiece, Edge of the World. Also, for a guitar clinic, Listen to Scream For Me. Go with the live versions. Regarding the drummer, she is only 4'9" but as you heard/saw, she is a giant behind the kit.

One of the few J-Metal bands that sing primarily in English...

Prior to the covid shutdown Lovebites were touring in Europe with Dragon Force. All 5 of them are quite petite, so they always wear white because Meta stages are usually dark to be seen. Miho (bass) with Haruna (drums) formed the band after Destrose went dormant. They recruited Modori and Miyako as the guitarists and finally Asami (vocalist) who's background was R&B and Soul. If you did not notice the lyrics are in English, Asmai lived in the US in her teens and she is the prime lyricist. Miyako is the prime composer and she has a RU-vid channel you should check out! As to your next reaction; checkout Swan Song. It has a bit of a surprise in it.

Asami, the lead singer, has a pop and R&B background. She did lots of back-up singing for idol singers and R&B groups before Lovebites.

Lovebites and Band-Maid are the two best female bands on earth with both their own style. You should listening to more of their stuff.

I'd like to say thank you. Thank you for reacting to this video. I enjoyed other reacts you did but when you did this, I decided to give it a chance. I had avoided watching or listening to Lovebites. But since watching this reaction, I've bought two out of the three albums. So I'm going to recommend Scream for Me and Break the Wall. Thrashy goodness.

I have yet to hear a dud from them. One of my faves is "Scream for me." The live version is an absolute guitar clinic.
