Lovebites concerts are around 90 minutes and each song is just as complex as the next. Its amazing listening to 5 instruments (vocals included) in sync for that long. Just watching Haruna on drums and seeing how she not only keeps the train moving smoothly, but also accents vocals, guitar and bass in unique ways for each song. Then imagine remembering all that for each of the 15 or so songs in a full LBs concert. Then add to that how dry the guitar tones of Midori and Myako are, where there isn't a lot of effects used that could mask any mistakes.The technical excellence of each member should not be discounted.

Immensely talented band. 50 yrs of listening to metal and they have eclipsed all my previous favorites. Midori & Miyako are truly elite guitarists.

This band has 56 face melters. They are truly unique in their ability to perform at this level consistently from day one. Best band ever. Seriously. Yes, including the “greats”. Nobody has bought the attributes to the table that LOVEBITES have.

I came across them around Christmas time. Very opportune, I got my brother to buy me their ‘Heavy Metal Never Dies’ Tokyo concert on Blu-ray as a present. It’s stunning. They are an amazing band, can’t get enough of them :)

Lovebites live performances are unbelievably good. But my favorite music video is "Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)". You get to see them in their rehearsal studio in their street clothes. You get to see a really different side of them.

99% of their songs will melt your face, it's in their DNA. Recommend Set The World On Fire live 2021. More epicness and thrashy AF. A Big 4 influenced song by all means but with next level solos / harmonization. Great reaction. 🤘

That's my ladies, live they have few equals, male or female! If you want to hear a masterpiece, try a Frozen Serenade, live. From now on, remember, all live videos. If you don't, you are robbing yourselves. Maybe you want the full breath of their talent, listen to Swan Song with the Chopin intro. Wolfpack forever.

Two songs to check out: ‘Stand and Deliver,’ start with the music video then the live version. ‘Swan Song’ with a Chopin intro. It’s a live video. Miyako, guitarist on the right, is a classically trained pianist and plays the intro.

They are all fantastic musicians, but yeah, Haruna is a truly exceptional drummer. I still notice details in her drumming in songs I've heard many times already.

All the members of Lovebites are outstanding musicians, but I think it is the sound of drums and vocals that makes Lovebites music unique and recognizable. Anyway, this is the first thing I noticed when I first met the band.

Other great songs: All videos from the Knocken at Heavens Gate show First DH show after taking some time off and they bring it and show off their new bass player, Fami multiple times!!! Break the Wall--to me, it has a Metallica feel Set the World on Fire--Great song Thunder Vengeance 2020--Great concert intro Shadowmaker-like a fine wine, with each show it is played, they somehow make it better. Use the 2021 version Raise Some Hell-Great Crowd interaction From the new album Judgement Day: Soldier Stands Solidarity-no official video other than the Band reacting to it from their live stream event. There is a video from their Judgement Day tour, but its not on par with Lovebites Official Live videos.

Excellent choice. I’ve watched this performance countless times and it still thrills me. The bassist here is co-founder ROSANA MIHO. In the JUDGEMENT DAY VIDEO, you saw young FAMI, who stepped in to fill MIHO’s shoes. Just started following these INCREDIBLE LADIES a few months ago and the first video I saw was a solo by Midori and someone commented she was pregnant when it was filmed 😲 but also at the end of the solo she put the guitar down and started a Piano solo 😲 they are UNREAL 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 also found out there are numerous JapanMetal bands that are all or mostly women but can't get past Lovebites to check it out 😁🤘✌️

Welcome to the world of LOVEBITES. One correction. It was miyako, not midori, who attended the concert when she was four months pregnant. She had never played guitar until she was 18, specialising in piano. Of the members of LOVEBITES, vocalists asmai and miyako got married and gave birth.

These ladies are world class musicians with classical background and they are taking heavy metal to another level. They don't know how to write a bad song. Their live performances are best not to mention on high heels. Yes, both of their bassists don't use pick. greatest collection of talent in one band i have ever seen. that is always up for debate but certainly applies to female bands. none better - then or now. you will be blown away every time by these beautiful ladies. and then wish you lived in japan. it's to the point of being unfair having TWO guitarists that can play at that level. can you say supergroup ? !

Both guitarists and the bassist all do the tapping bit at the same time, just the way it is shot you only see 1 focused at a time, you can see Midori (blonde guitarist) take the pick out of her mouth after the focus on the bassist tapping. By the way this is the old bassist, Miho, who quit the band in 2021, she was replaced by Fami, who you saw in the Judgement Day video. So that Roland piano you see in the background behind Miyako (dark haired guitarist) is not for show, Miyako is at least as good at piano as she is at guitar. It's always great to see how musicians react to their first live Lovebites track. You guys have better appreciation of their awesome talent, and the thousands of hours of practice required to perform that flawlessly on stage. Make a short jump to their latest Blue Ray from "Knocking at Heavens Gate" The Song: "Nameless Warrior" Its the first Concert for Fami (the new Bass Player). The whole Concert is just Epic. You're in, bro! Ready to check out the mad genius that is Miyako? Search for the "Swan Song + Chopin Intro." As much as Miyako shreds the guitar, she also plays classical piano at high recital performance level. Don't pick the official one in the Lovebites channel, though - the piano recording is weak and does not include the Chopin intro.

Forget music videos. The only way to listen to love bites is to watch them live. I've been going to concerts for over 50 years and I enjoy watching them immensely. They never disappoint musically and technically. Very diverse music, from 'edge of the world' to 'break the wall, to 'a frozen serenade ' to 'set the world on fire' to 'nameless warrior' to ' liar ' all live.

Love Harunas drumplaying. And there are lots of drummer s at her level but what impressed me is her stamina during a whole concert. In that sense she might be one of the best in the world. Don't get me wrong, i really love her cymbal work and she is like a programmed drummachine song after song and she checking her past druming it is hard to hear changes. Few drummers are that good

Lovebites sound is producted by Steve Jacobs, Mao Yamamoto ex Light Bringer Keyboardist and programing ,mixt by Miko Karmila and Master by Mika Jussila in Finnvox studio. From the 1st Ep to the last live each time thoses Guy works for LOVEBITES on : 3 Eps ,4 studio albums, 5 lives albums, 1 compilation, 6 DVD LIVE.

There is no need to exaggerate the importance of all these people for Lovebites. Steve Jacobs has nothing to do with music. There is nothing particularly outstanding in the works of Finnvox studio and its mentioned employees. I think maybe Japanese studios would have done at least as well. The best sound from the live releases in Awake Again Live From Abyss, which was worked on by Japanese sound engineers. At first, Miyako was not a regular member of Lovebites, and the others had no songwriting experience and Miho turned to Mao for help. His contribution to the band's music is quite significant, but not decisive. If you listen to his own band LightBringer, you can see that this is a typical Japanese band, not particularly outstanding.

Moreover, 2 songs that are on 'Golden Destination' ('Spellbound' and 'Puppet on Strings') are not found anywhere else. + 'Invitation to the Theater - Live in Tokyo 2019' (2 SD, 2020) + 'Crusaders Standing at Wacken - Live in Germany 2018' (DVD, 2020) + 'Battle in the East' (DVD/Blu-ray, 2018)

These ladies are very talented. I was never a real metal head but I definitely don't have a problem listening to them. Another good one to check out is Unlucky Morpheus, they are a very talented group of musicians.

Yeah. Only two solo's. Now react to 'Scream For Me', live. You will see FOURTEEN solos' in that one. Four in the main part of the song & then ten in 'conversation' mode at the end. That will melt your face off, for sure.
