Lovebites can do it all, from heavy thrash metal like this to soft tear-jerking emotional ballads. They cannot be defined by one genre.

Lovebites formed in 2016. In 2018 they won the Metal Hammer Golden God Award for best new band. They are Japanese but all songs are in English. Not weird to compare Break the Wall to Metallica, Break the Wall is the more 80s Metallica song since the 80s xD She was totally on point in there.

Their musical influences run wide and deep in their evolution of the metal genre. Two things you can always expect, one, excellence, and two, the unexpected.

Take a heaping serving of Metallica, add a bunch of Slayer and Iron Maiden, jack up the speed and precision, top with some David Gilmour and Gary Moore, transform them all into girls in fancy dresses, and you have Lovebites.

Superb Band.....second only to Nemophila imo but both bands are taking over Japanese rock.....hopefully they can both spread their wings into the rest of the world. Miyako is a massively talented musician and plays keyboards judt as well as the guitar...her and Midori are a brilliant double axe attack!!! Just like Saki and Hazuki are in Nemophila......these ladies know how to shred!!
