This is actually a true story of a girl the lead singer Damiano knows/knew, the most common interpretation for the song is that it tells the story of a girl abused by her father and who ended up committing suicide or was sent to a mental institution (the castle with walls so strong that nothing will hurt her anymore -being either the cemetery or a mental asylum)
