You can find kgf 1 in Amazon prime video, its in 5 languages with in India so react to Malayalam KGF Chapter 1, even though original language is Kannada, the songs are quite better, plz react to whole movie because many have done👍👍👍Thank u
yeah, he said he "lived this story as a spectator", but of course he wouldn't give details, so he made it into a fairy-tale (sad one, 'cause no happy ending there). And in fact the point of view is that of the wannabe knight who can't actually save the princess.
@@giuliogrifi7739 why? Don’t you think Love me do is different than A day in the life? I am not comparing the bands mate. I am comparing songs from the same band!!
This lyrical ballad has some of the deepest and most tragic meanings of all Maneskin's repertoire. It is told in the form of a medieval fairy but tragic tale. The truths Coraline knows are so atrocious you can't even name them. Read the lyrics once without music. Put the meaning of each stanza in the story together and you will discover Coraline's 'heavy burden' and why she is so anxious and she doesn't want to 'eat' but rather she wants to 'disappear'. Stanza 1: description of Coraline's appearance: she is a beautiful girl and sensitive, she feels the sorrow of other people and she carries it within herself. Stanza 2: description of C's tragic psychological reality: her heart is broken into two halves, she has lost all her energy because of the evil she has to suffer and people who don't know about her inner self and the violence and 'burden' she has been exposed to say she is weak and can't do even the most common things (going out of a door). But one day she will succeed in going through that door and her life will start to change. A new beginning for her will then be possible. Stanza 3: The singer tells C she can change her life 'take her things and leave', but C doesn't have the force to react, she 'wants the sea but she's afraid of the water', there is a monster she is afraid of... a father who is not a father... and now we know that the sea is really inside her and her womb... She loses the fruit of her womb. She doesn't know the meaning of love... And any word said to soothe her sorrow and help her is useless it is like an 'axe in her back'... Stanza 4: what will the singer be for her if she wants to be helped. He will know her truth and fight for her without asking for anything in return. Stanza 5: conclusion: we end in the same way as the story started (in a circular movement) = there is no solution to C's burden. There's a castle in town with walls so massive and solid that nothing more will afflict C. She will find eternal peace inside that castle. Maneskin once said in an interview that this song is based on a true story. The name Coraline has been chosen for musical reasons.
@@rosannabrusca4248 Thanks Maneskin for their work of art. Only a talented band could have ever achieved that. As an Italian I'm so proud of them. This is not the 'solite canzonette' this is solid poetry in the best Italian tradition.
@@bipblingbip443 It's not easy to sing about a story of abuses, particularly about incest... You say 'many other artists made something similar to this'. Give an example... and whatever example you may give, it is only 'similar' not the same to this... Still far fetched do you think?
Since they won the Eurovision I'm completely addicted to this band and I can see this happening to you too. Enjoy, it's such a great journey! I definitely would like to see more Maneskin reactions from you. For instance: Moriro da re, Amandoti, Le Parole Lontane, La paura del buio, For your love. Thank you in advance!
Thank you❤ I was waiting for this video! I hope you'll react to more Måneskin... Regarding "Coraline" and its meaning, Damiano ( the singer) said this during an interview: II "Coraline" needs a clarification: it is not the story of a knight who saves the princess in difficulty. The story ends badly, there is no happy ending. It is something real, it is the withering of this flower, of this girl, and the knight is helpless and powerless in the face of what is happening. As for Coraline, it is not referring to the cartoon, to the film. The choice of the name is purely musical, phonetic. The story is real, which I will not talk about, reported in a fairy tale and everyone can interpret it as they like" I translated it... I hope it's at least comprehensible! Anyway, understanding single words would be magic, because its lyrics are very very deep.
Coraline is not the real name. She was a Damiano s friend who commited suicide 'cause the moster named in this song was her father the abuses her. Due to the sexual violence she also was pregnat but lost her baby. Infact in the end of the song Damiano speaks about a Castle. This is a Cemetary. I m 49 but first time i listen it i cried. Anyway it s a masterpeace in my opinion. A sad masterpeace. Ciao from Rome👋😊
I'm not a big fan of "For your love", which I see suggested a lot in here (sounds quite standard to me, not especially impressive), but if you want another cool memorable rock piece check the official video for "Morirò da Re". Awesome. Also "Vent'anni" and "Torna a casa" official videos and the spectacular "Amandoti" live on radio 2 performance are really worth checking out! Thanks man!
@NJ The song describes in a fairytale way the real story of a girl who is abused both psychologically and sexually by her father and who, in the ending, suggests that the girl dies ... the final text of the song, the part of the castle, is a very strong metaphor .... a castle with high walls represents a place of isolation or even a prison, a mental institution .... but the part of the walls is the one that reveals the ending .... "Le han detto in città c’è un castello Con mura talmente potenti Che se ci vai a vivere dentro Non potrà colpirti più niente Non potrà colpirti più niente" "They told you there is a castle in the city With such powerful walls That if you go to live inside Nothing can hit you anymore Nothing can hit you anymore" In prison or in an institute there is no peace. "the castle" where you can find peace, serenity, a place of rest, a place where there is no longer suffering or pain ... think of the walls that delimit the cemeteries here in Italy, think of the peace and silence of those places .. the powerful walls where everyone finds peace
Oh my gosh, I had it like you the first time I listened to it! For me, Coraline is the perfect song, I will listen to it until the end of my life! Seriously. I listened to it for a long time without subtitles and I found it to be the saddest song in the world, without knowing what it was about! I always play it before going to bed because it is so beautiful! Really great reaction, you create a great show!
Now that you've done the three most famous songs from Maneskin's last album - Zitti e Buoni, Wanna Be your Slave and Coraline - you can enjoy their three brightest gems: For your love: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z46cT3DcUXU.html In nome del padre (In the name of the father), here with English subs: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0MZdW5PhcPM.html La paura del buio (Fear of the Dark), again with English subs here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2ODoxmdYK80.html
Coraline is a name in invented but is the real story of a girl who is abused both psychologically and sexually by her father. It’s a sad song but very very touchly. Damian into an interview told that he won’t tell anything about this song and who is the real person…🥺 the song is very Powerful and the meaning also! Thank u so so much for this reaction! You are amazing! Other beautiful songs are: vent’anni, torna a casa, paura del buio, chosen, nel nome del Padre. 😘bye from Italy 🇮🇹
in a world of all use autotune ,computer, rapping found a band who play wrote his sonng it's rare i don't wont suggest u what listen but serch more to this band i'll surprise u more and more time , i said u only that in 2016 since later 2017 it was buskers im apologize for mine bad english it was in a far 1978 who i stopped to study it
Thank you for your reaction. Coraline is the story of a girl known by Damiano, the singer. She's supposed to be abused by her father. Unfortunately she died. In order to respect her memory, the band decided not to make any video. 💔
The translation in this clip is OK but doesnt quite get the narrative 100%. For example the first repeated line is translated as 'Coraline, Coralina... speak your truth' this translation doesn't quite capture the narrator's heart felt plea. It should be translated as 'Coraline, Coralina... Tell me your truths" which gives you a better sense of the heart felt plea of the narrator and that the song is actually about his unrequited pure love for a tragically emotionally entrapped woman.
Their lirics are always meaningful ❤️ poetry, even when they are 'angry', they talk about meaningful things with such a maturity (now I listen to Maneskin when I want rock and to Bts when I want pop:)) 2 different energys, style, cultures, but for me they are talking the same "language")
Hi, the song is about a sad but true story of a girl, a friend of Damiano (the singer), who was abused by her father, defined monster in the second verse (as he suggests in the last verse: "She lost the fruit of her womb He has not known love But a father who is nothing of a father ") and who committed suicide (" They told her there is a castle in the city With such powerful walls That if you go to live inside Nothing can hit you anymore "), where the castle is a Roman cemetery, the Verano Monumental Cemetery, called, in fact," the castle "... I hope you will read the comment and now that you know what it's about I know you will appreciate this beautiful song even more, thank you.
MEANING OF “CORALINE” AS TOLD BY DAMIANO It’s our fairy tale, the story of a little girl who can’t find her place in the world because she’s too pure and fragile. It tells, through a sweet melody, a journey that gradually becomes more and more distressing, that seems hopeless. [...] “Coraline” needs a clarification: it’s not the story of the knight saving the damsel in distress. The story ends badly, there is no happily ever after. It’s something real, it’s the withering of this flower, of this girl, and the knight is helpless and powerless in the face of what is happening. As for the name Coraline, it’s not inspired by the cartoon, by the film. The choice of the name is purely musical, phonetic. The story is a real story, one I will not talk about right now, turned into a fairy tale, and everyone can interpret it as they wish.
This song is regarding a father's abuse, based on a true story of a friend of Damiano, whose name he didn't want to give out of respect...in fake name, "Coraline". the story ends in the most tragic way possible: Coraline dies after an abortion and will be figurally locked up in a "castle" where really no one will be able to harm her anymore, namely the monumental cemetery of Varano, Rome, called by the locals "the castle".
she was a girl they knew... someone who was abused by her father, got pregnant and committed suicide... the castle at the end of the song is a cemetary in Rome. For Damiano this is a very emotional song..; When he sings it, he closes his eyes and doesn't interact with the public... But they sing the song during every performance... to keep her memory alive
I'm late, but it's about a friend of the band who comitted.....yeah. It's embellished as a fairy tale about a knight and a girl who can't be together. The Gazette has a very similar song called "Reila", which is about a childhood friend of the singer who was in love with him but he didn't realize it, years later he came back to tell her he felt the same way and she was gone.
My recommendation: Vent’anni and In Nome Del Padre. Some Måneskin English songs are very nice but the Italian ones are far superior, especially for the lyrics.
Thanks for reacting in this beautiful way. One important thing: when you react to ‘vent’anni’ again use English subtitled video because it’s too important that you understand. When instead you listen to their most famous song ‘torna a casa’ I recommend that you read the lyrics BEFORE the official video and only after you watch the official video which is a work of art not only for the music (keep in mind that MARLENA is not a real girl, is the personification of their inspiration, their love for music, their Muse, their need to exist through their music) Waiting for these two bro! Please
Coraline..an invented name. But Damiano wrote this lyrics when he was 18 /enn. It is true ... A friend. Abused by her father. But Damiano won t tell this history. A masterpiece. ♥️
"Torna a Casa" is a masterpiece, but as awesome as the video is (a must see) you should find a subbed version because lyrics are such an important part of what Maneskin are
The story that they tell in the song sadly it's a true story, the singer, Damiano, wrote it in memory of a friend, Coraline (invented name) abused by her father. In the end when he tells of a castle with "strong" walls he means the cemetery, where nothing can hurt Coraline anymore.
Ciao please please you hear the song maneskin FOR YOUR LOVE for me the song its new album i prefere very passional song remember years 60/70 including very excessional volce solo guitar drum this song is a spectacle ciao👍😱
Maneskin😍this song is about abuse, and the monster that keeps her in a cage and coores her way to mine is the father..I didn't understand if Coralline eventually dies..😥react to La paura del buio(Live version) vent'anni (Twenty years with Subtitles,) Morirò da re,For you love lividi sui gomiti, and chosen.😁🤗please please pleaseeee I want your reaction ✌️
Thank You!! Coraline ♥ Please react Maneskin "I wanna be your slave+ Zitti e Buoni" studio version WiwiJam ➡ It's a great performance! CIAO from ITALIA
You can pronounce it pretty much every way, because it was chosen just for metric purposes and it's pronounced all three ways throughout the song. Just note that it's not "Caroline", it's "Coraline".
text by Damiano and unfortunately inspired by a true story. We dedicate this song to all the "Carolines" who are locked up in themselves by a father who has nothing of a father!
