Marcelito sang The Prayer on the first show and Simon gave him a ten. Out of forty different acts Marcelito came in fourth. He was the only singer to make it to the top four. He was the audience favorite throughout the competition, but there were many discrepancies surrounding Marcelito’s performances. The shows are highly edited and rearranged. I feel Simon had his choice picked from the very beginning. But at least Marcelito received exposure in over 120 countries. 👍

I wish I could be so forgiving as you towards Simon and those judges. The truth is that a young man was used and cheated by an over glorified jackass, and no one called them out. That is not what America is about. Ask Trump!

I just think that all Americans need to keep a vigil eye on those people that may be trying to destroy democracy. Not all Americans are patriots, nor do they have the best intentions of all Americans to be treated equaIly and fairly. Watching this reminds me of how sad Marcelito must have felt during the finals, when Simon picked the song for him, and then said Marcelito choice of song is too safe. I also picked up that the last 2 lines of Simon's comment on semi-finals is exactly the same clip in the finals. I don't think Simon wanted Marcelito to win. What a shame!

This time I think you are wrong. Simon rigged the judging against Marcelito and he should have been fired by the networks. The other judges were just as much of cowards not to stand up against Simon's rigging the judging.

i believe he only came 5th in competition, there was a big public out cry that AGT was fixed after this. or his next song which was beauty and the beast, aledged, better get that in Angelina, didnt win either, there is a you tuber, on here, i will send you his page, where, simon, was in same clothes, same comment, same audience behind for the semi final and the fial, aledged worth a look guys by the way, you are my favourite reaction you tubes, love the chemistry, your comments, say it as you see it.

Trick is the operative word, his singing makes him a 1 trick pony, it’s ok that he sings in duet, but he has no artistry, meaning he never makes a song his own, he still sounds like the original, and if I want to hear the original, I’ll listen to the original. He could at least try to make the songs his own.
