Is it just me or do metal singers have some of the most beautiful voices? So clear and clean, their ability to truly hit and hold those notes, they’re like opera singers who just went in a different direction

No life shack.... I didn't read all the comments so I don't know if you were told but this was a pivotal song in Metallica's career. They lost lots of fans because this song was considered the soft mainstream song that bust them wide open, but on the flip side made them "sellouts" to many people. From a Fan's point of view they were sellouts we're from the band's point of view it was what they were supposed to do. They're one of the greatest bands of all time.
