I play this song to this day, relentlessly on Saturday’s cleaning up! Back in the day, we would have mix tapes and they would add extra bass to them. Man, if you got a mix tape with this on it…….from DJ JELLY in the ATL…..GOOD LAWD! 😂 you couldn’t tell us nothing! Michel’le is so underrated and never got a fair chance in the industry!

I remember her giving an interview when this song was released, I was shocked at how different her speaking voice was from her singing voice. Her singing voice was so high pitched, but boy could she sing her face off.

You need to listen to her other hit song called, ’Nicety’. Also…you gotta see her on the ‘Donny Simpson’ interview. However, with all of the physical abuse she’s suffered in her life, GOD has kept her from possibly being killed. She has 2 children. I know at least one of them belongs to ‘Dr. Dre’ who was also her producer, and she was also with ‘Suge Knight’, but I’m not sure if her second child is his or ‘Dr. Dre’s’.

Michel'le is so underrated. She is so talented and her voice is unmatched. Unfortunately, she was involved in an abusive relationship with Dr. Dre of NWA and because of his power in the hip hop scene she was most likely blacklisted!! P.S. She was not the only woman he was accused of abusing! He also publicly beat up a television personality/female rapper, Dee Barnes. Fun fact: Her speaking voice sounds like she's sucking helium! 😂😂

Michel'le started with The World Class Wrecking Crew, which was a group that included Dr. Dre before he created his fake gangsta persona...The song was called Before You Turn Off The light. She had an abusive relationship with Dr. Dre. Was Something in my heart was directed to Dre. You do know Dre is a woman beater. Her voice is great but her talking voice is like mini mouse ( a child) to were it sounds fake. Today, she do some festival shows but drugs and alcohol and beatings by Dre did its damage The sister last show here so could not remember the words, voice was bad, and it was heartbreaking.
