Because she's a great cover killer but in the contrary, nobody can claim that they were able to sing her song as "Better than the original". She sings anything and for all ages. She has lots of skills like "Controlled whistle and intentional vocal cracks". You will surely enjoy her talents if you will continue reacting to her. The genre killer!! This woman can sing everything. She has many originals. Some of the more popular ones is Akin Ka Na Lang on the Wish Bus sung in Tagalog. Panaganip on the Wish Bus sung in Tagalog. She released 2 newer singles on in December called Love You Still and the other in February called Phoenix both sung in English. All her performances are stellar you really can’t go wrong no matter which one you pick. Great reaction.

Oh my indeed. She is arguably the best female vocalist in the biz right now. In part because she can and does sing in all genres, perfectly, and seemingly effortlessly...not to mention that she’s is a great story teller. There are dozens of don’t miss performances that you’ll soon learn about, my fave at this moment is her recent cover of a powerful worship song, Could You Be Messiah, so far only as a music video. Doesn’t have her amazing whistle tone, but it’s a very seasoned Mori at her best. Enjoy the ride!
My exact reaction hearing her for the first time a year ago. Originals in English are Phoenix and Love You Still. Native Language Akin Ka Na Lang. Other covers Mariah Fly Like A Bird, Beyonce "Listen" Live, Beyonce "Halo" she did in Dec 2020. and Jennifer Holiday "And I'm Telling You".
Her last original, "Phoenix" and she has a new cover "Could you be messiah" giving to her by Gary V, one of his own songs and she is brilliant with it. But be warned she is the voice that keeps you in awe with every cover or song, when she takes on material she makes her own. Vocal embellishments, vocal cries, vibrato, 8-13 second phrases as seen in her wish bus performance of Akin Ka Na Lang she's great and one of my favorites, please listen some of the one's I mentioned you will not be disappointed
Whether my recommendation or someone else, it doesn’t matter, I’m just glad that you finally got to hear our own Asia’s Phoenix, Ms. Morissette Amon. As far as other songs that you’ve requested, the list is too long. Although, she has a few original songs, listening to her doing covers will sound as if she’s the original singer. So, at this point, it really doesn’t matter if she’s singing one of her originals or covers.

Her Wish Bus performances are epic. Her quarantine videos are amazing. There's Mariah Carey's 'Fly Like A Bird', 'Resignation' (sung in English, Tagalog, and Korean). She does a mashup of 'Moon River/Usuhay'. She covers Beyonce, Celine, Diana, Demi Lovato and so many more. She Raps, sings R&B, Pop, Jazz, Broadway, and even Worship songs. When Mori does covers of other songs, she kills it. But when she comes out with an original song, it's so much tailored exclusively to her style, it's very hard to cover in a way that will outdo her rendition. There's a rumor (yeah ok; probably JUST a joke) of someone who was rushed to the hospital due to breathing problems. The patient apparently tried to sing Mori's "Akin Ka Na Lang" exactly like Mori did... but ran out of breath and fainted! 😁

In terms of original music, you should definitely listen to her song Phoenix. When it comes to live performances I would recommend her covers of "Listen" and "I am telling you". Also her Bare Cover of "Drivers License" is fantastic.
