The best thing to come out of the pandemic was the discovery of incredible talent via RU-vid. I'm 72 and have heard great talent over the decades. Many wonder...Why haven't I heard of him/her before. For international singers to crack the American Market you have to have radio backing, domestic venues, licensing, agents with US contacts. Then they have to compete with the great U.S. Pop Singers and TV and publicists. We are exposed to then daily. Bottom line...keep the money here. Morrisette is one of a kind. So is Diana Ankudinova, Polena Gagarina...both Russian. Faouzia, born in Casa Blanca and immigrated to Canada. They all are talents beyond our borders who will bring tears to your eyes and emotion to your heart.

Tom, you spelled her name wrong. Her dad named her after his favorite singer Alanis Morissette. As you see in your title you left out the second S. It is a live FM radio station on a mobile bus in the Philippines, where she is from. They speak English and Tagalog. And as you see the singing is done SITTING down, which is harder than standing or for Dimash kneeling. And they have to fail or succeed as live there is no 2nd chance.🎶👱‍♀️👗👠👠💓

She first rose to prominence when she finished runner-up on TV5's Star Factor at the age of 14. In 2012, Amon made her professional stage debut in the Repertory Philippines production of Disney's Camp Rock in the role of Mitchie Torres. She competed in the first season of ABS-CBN's The Voice of the Philippines in 2013, where she became part of Sarah Geronimo's team (Asia's PopStar Royalty) Born and raised in Cebu City, Amon became a recording artist of Star Music in early 2014 and released her first album, titled Morissette, in March 2015.
