By the way, this song is so full of details and so well crafted that it's been studied at the prestigious Sydney Conservatorium of Music for a while. Aside from reacting to the live version of And plague flowers the kaleidoscope, if you want to return to NeO later I'd suggest Forget Not, As Icicles Falls, or Eyrie. Drew, I never listened to death metal before i heard this song. Since then, i have really dived into NeO's discography. There are still some songs that just don't grab me, but the rest have me absolutely captivated and i find myself listening to them over and over and over. "Forget Not", "Painters of the Tempest" and "Devour Me Colossus" are my favorites, but "Eyrie" and "As Icicles Fall" and "Petrichor Weaves Black Noise" are sooo sooo good. The live in Colorado version of Kaleidoscop e is excellent audio and visual, and the playthroughs of the drums and bass on this will blow your mind. Hope to see much more NeO on your channel...

Given you liked Anesthetize, I recommend Left Out. I like your description of processing the layers, repeat listens, and trying to put it all together. It's basically how prog works... That's why most people comment on how some songs become "better" after every listen, you keep hearing something new and add it to the overall experience. As for some suggestions: Plini - Selenium Forest Leprous - Slave (Live at Rockefeller) Spiritbox - Blessed Be Pain Of Salvation - Meaningless And dare I suggest: Mick Gordon - BFG Division or The Only Thing They Fear Is You... for something really different.

@@Malkovith2 I suggested Reptile because it shows all aspects of Periphery, and for first time listeners that's important. Shorter songs can't capture that. Also Reptile is undoubtedly one of their best songs.

Yo can you please react to Siebenburgen "Levande begravd" they are a swedish melodic black metal band. Its a 10 minute song but I'd really love it if you were to react to them or just listen on your off time.

Hey drew, Im relatively new to your channel but like your reactions very much. I really like your openness for the unnokwn. Some suggestions you could check out: Machine head (for example: davidian) Pantera (edit: nevermind, just saw that you already did them) Chimaira Kataklysm (edit: Songs like crippled and broken, or as i slither) Another heavy one is hypocrisy with the Song hell is where i Stay. There's many more, but i dont wanna overdo it for now. Greetings from germany Stay healthy
