Nicki actually collabed with BTS on their song Idol. They've got an MV for it. They never did it live, but if you have the time, watching BTS do Idol live is an experience
In my opinion, based off the Nicki reactions I’ve seen from u guys so far - you always like the harder Nick rap style songs. Which as I’m assuming “straight men” makes sense lol. So here’s a bunch of both songs & features that I KNOW you will like: “Yikes” “Fractions” “Barbie TINGZ” “Transformer” “Danny Glover” “Yasss Bish” “Did It On Em” “Good Form” “Sir” “Shanghai”. Trust me you’ll love Shanghai & Yikes for sure.
RM- intro persona Suga- that that by psy feat. Suga Jhope- MORE MV and lollapalooza performance on BTS's official yt channel and hope world( his debut album)
dont react to yikes lmao, react to good form, super freaky girl queen mix (it is a totally dif song than the original and features other female artists + nicki has a new verse) and we go up plssss
As an Asian woman, I'm definitely not impressed. Chun Li was a highly stereotyped character whose signature move was the 'helicopter' - mostly spinning upside down with legs spread. Her shirt always torn wide open. And when the other characters beat her up it looked like sexual violence. Am I supposed to relate because Nicki put chopsticks in her hair and called herself 'Ding Dong'? (Also very offensive way to portray Chinese names). I need to go find clean content to wash out this experience.
Lolol you are reachinggggg. She said name go "Ding Dong" which means her name rings bells. And she compared her self to chun li because she was the first ever female playable character to appear in a fighting game that reached mainstream popularity, Also, while chun-li is a good/hero character, her design is based off of a villain character on capcom. Hopefully, you now see the correlation.
@@dianteelcock6302 thank you for your insights. I understand there's a lot of positives to Chun Li. But as an Asian girl growing up in Street Fighter era, I can attest that very few girls saw her as a role model. There was no internet to look up her attributes. And most teenage boys played her character just to see her boobs, and to make Blanca bone her. Chun Li (and Minaj) is not who I want to represent me. Ok Ding Dong rings a bell. I get it. But it's presence in a Chinese themed song is no accident. She went out of her way to make Asian references. This was either intentional or ignorant or both. Also bummed that wearing cornrows is appropriation, but hey, let's all be Chinese by putting chopsticks in our hair! If all this is supposed to empower me, why do I feel violated? Sorry I'm ranting. Again, thank you for the discussion.
@@soop5414 you're either trolling or you don't understand what she is saying. 😂😂 1. "as an Asian girl growing up in Street Fighter era, I can attest that very few girls saw her as a role model" This song isnt about being a role model. At all. lol 2. "Chun Li (and Minaj) is not who I want to represent me." She's not trying to represent any group of people... 3. "She went out of her way to make Asian references" She also made basketball references, video game references, comic book references, fashion, cars.. You HAVE to be trolling..
@@MBeeZee I have experienced racist and misogynistic treatment because of the way Asian women are often portrayed. Dismissing my genuine concerns as trolling, is why the harrassment continues.
