Love No Dought and Gwen. She's like a musical chameleon from Ska to Pop to Hip-hop/Rap to now topping the country charts. You guys look great tonight BTW.
Hella Good is my all time favorite song by No Doubt. My other favorites are Hey Baby, Don’t Speak, Spiderwebs, Bathwater, It’s My Life, Underneath It All
This song was produced by The Neptunes, a production duo of which one was Pharell. Most of Justin Timberlake's music has been produced by Timbaland but his initial one or two albums had a lot of production by Pharell.
This entire reaction video is on point. The new years vibes, the slick outfits, the dancing, the flirting, the killer music! Made me smile the whole time
"Hella Good" is the second single from No Doubt's fifth album, Rock Steady (2001); it was produced by Nellee Hooper and No Doubt. The song peaked at #13 on the Hot 100. Please react to No Doubt - "New."
Can’t believe it’s been nearly 23 years since that album came out. I researched to find out when that album came out. December 11, 2001. I was 7 years old when it came out. Crazy it’ll be that long ago.
Your reaction to the song is exactly what it should be! When this song came out back in the day, we were like holy shit. It was a jam, and it’s still a jam.
I'm pretty much a hard rock guy. No Doubt was always around through the kids, and I tolerated it, without much enthusiasm. So I wasn't too excited when I realized there was a new No Doubt album that, no doubt, was gonna be a constant presence in the house for a few weeks. Then this came on. I was like: "Wait...That's No Doubt? This is slammin'!"
I think it’s so cute about Gwen Stefani and her relationship with Blake as he had no idea about any of her music prior to! Lol I was in my 20s when no doubt came out and of course I was all over it!!! Such an amazing band, and Gwen Stefani as a solo artist, amazing!
Oh heck nah!!! Haha okay this was out when I was kicking up dust! This is a classic by now!!! 🔥 production! Love to see y’all dance along to this in y’all’s attire for the reactions tonight(tonight where I’m seeing these) lol 🙌❤️💪🏽😤
The producer for this, Nellee Hooper, has not worked with Justin Timberlake. This song actually came out in 2001. Justin made his breakout in 2002. The sound connection might be from the fact that this was co-written by Pharrell Williams was a producer for Justin's debut album :).
Not only disco. No Doubt had huge new wave influences as well. Explains the futuristic sounds. And of course they mixed it up with ska and punk. Ska punk. Very unique band.
No Doubt was huge in the LA area ( where they're from) . Back in the early 80's I think, my 12 niece wanted a cassette( cassette back then ) of this new band for her birthday. I couldn't find one anywhere in the East where I lived and wasn't until I found myself in Phoenix on a trip that I found a copy. Then soon after they broke out in a big way. Come to think of it late 80's ,90's ?? Gwen Stefani was on the Voice where as you know met Blake Shelton in the show, ended up getting married awhile later. He's country, she's pop living totally different lifestyles. Neither were that familiar with each other's work actually. But look so great together. You should check out Gwen's home in Ca....very, very modern, bold wild! Really some unique kind of taste while back at the ranch with Mr Cowboy himself....I guess opposites do attract. But check out some of her other works...Holler Back Girls with Lil Kim and much more...please. Love your show and the 2 of you are such a beautiful couple not just with your looks( great smiles the both of you) but sincerety. You compliment each other..BJ with his more analytical approach to things sometimes and you Asia giddy as a school girl sometimes. I'd say BJ is the anchor and you're the sail Asia...keep up being who you are, beautiful together....
No Doubt/Gwen Stefani was a unique group back in the '90s and early '00s. Ska punk, new wave, alt rock/dance. Nice group! Gwen went solo later on and went on to R&B, poppy rap type music. Which was ok, but meh. lol
Other than on here how do we request song for Asia&BJ to listen and react to? You Say by Lauren Daigle!! I would love them to hear this song! I know they would love it!!
