All sounds is just from his mouth, no effect. Dubstep is now popular in beatbox community. He is a one of the most famous beatboxer being good at lip roll. This technique is now standard beatbox technique.
he is not good at liproll god of liproll and the basic liproll has been standarize by him in bbx community everyone inspired bc of him he evolved that sound thanks to napom
@@sabyy. Nah i'll say that Waali is the best with liprolls, he can do more variety and complexity with it than Napom. Tho Napom would win in a battle cause his wide catalog of techniques
@@itzvenaldo Ill repeat myself. Yeah, he created liprolls, that doesnt mean that in the present day he is the best with them. Napom routines are very unclean techs and has not improved new liprolls.
People think he's doing an outward blowing effect on the mic, like a trick to make it lower, this accusation can simply be rebutted by saying "the deep basses are from him inhaling breathe inawards". Loved the reaction dude
It's so funny when people who don't know beatbox insist they know what he's doing. Not referring to you but the people you're referring to lmao They can literally do all of what they do without a mic, might not have the same impact as with amplification, but itll still sound amazing.
I would suggest reacting to the gbb wildcards, either the 2020 or 2021 version. That way you will get to know all different kind of beatboxers and what they are capable of. Love your reactions
@@agustinquinteros1073 except he is widely considered the best. thats a fact. I'm not saying he is / isn't the best, just that the general consensus is he is. Codfish is also placed high up the list. Codfish around 2018 was definitely thought of as the best but the past few years, all D-Low
@@agustinquinteros1073 well sorry to say that but if you think he's not complex you have no idea what you're talking about, he has the widest sound bank in the beatbox scene, he does stuff nobody else can do
9:36 I think the audio and video are out of sync so it's harder to see it, but beatboxers typically change volume like that by just moving the mic closer to or further away from their mouth. It's not just useful for playing with dynamics like Napom was doing, but it's also useful for getting certain sounds out right, as some sounds are loud enough to clip a lot of mics, and others are quiet enough to where they *really* need the mic as close as possible for it to come through the sound system as intended. 11:12 Prior to COVID I think it depended on the event, some events would have contestants bring their own mic and/or equipment (especially if it were a looping event) while others would have contestants share a mic (though it'd be wiped down and cleaned beforehand obviously), but since COVID a lot of events have either gave contestants their own mics during the battles (then probably had them cleaned and disinfected after each battle) or had them outright bring their own mics (especially the case in smaller events).
No loops, pure solo beatboxing, there are a lot of these beasts out there, try to check em out! On that note, please react to “Napom vs Zekka GBB 2021” Here you will see NaPom in battle form, and you might end up being kore familiar with NaPom’s style, as well as getting a taste of another world class beatboxer named “Zekka”
Love NaPoM one of my favorite beatboxers since 2014. I'd recommend you to check something more recent. Check out any of Den performances from BBU22 to see where beatbox's at right now. Also I agree with what you said about genres I don't listen to EDM, Dubstep or Ryddim and yet when I hear a really sick beatboxer do any of them I immediately get into it.
Those low basses are done by inhaling thru the lips. The low bass technique is called Lip Bass, the fast high pitch sounds are called Lip Rolls, which Napom is famous for.
He competed again in the biggest beatbox tournament twice in 2020 and 2021 so he's still going. Most people probably want people like Skiller, Reeps, Zede, Pe4enkata, and Kenny Urban to come back to compete
oh yueah and this like trap dubstep music is great for working out, running, dance, and fire spinning, its very energetic and pushes ya! but yeah wouldnt want to listen to it for every occasion ;)
They used to always share one microphone previously. Once they started getting more money they would have two microphones. You would hope they would all have their own microphones but it has to be standardized so they would all have to have the same one.
Napom’s routines called Bass Electro and Roll Like This are also music videos where his mouth is showing the whole time. Then you can be mystified by what you see as well as what you hear
Check out reeps one live in Tokyo. Reeps is one of the old school bbxers and still one of the best skilled. This competition was only for Chinese bbxers he was a judge and the judges always starts out with a showcase.
You must react to Dlow, for me is one of the best beatboxers. The kickback 2021 compilation or the judge showcase 2022 are insane 🔥. Also "Berywam" is a group of beatboxers so talented, few years ago MB14 is in that group, now there is another for him, but still a really good group. Sorry for my english xd ♥️
There are soo many videos. And people had to recommend a live performance. It sounds less clean and unimpressive sometimes. It's not because of the person. But because of sound quality .
Yep no looping, he could do everything he's doing without a mic right in front of you and it would sound roughly the same other than obviously the mixing and stuff. Napom's big thing is lip rolls where he vibrates his lips, which you can do all sorts of drums and vocalizations over without interfering with the sound. I don't think he does any Mongolian style bitonal vocals. Just using different parts of his mouth percussively. Obviously he's doing a ton of crazy techniques he's widely considered the GOAT in the beatbox battle community so that's an oversimplification. Also fuck no I'd never listen to this if it was coming out of a computer but it being beatbox is what makes it so cool Also also no they all use the same mic, maybe covid changed things idk
They use the same mic(s) in most competition (for fairness) but they have a spray and cloth for sanitizing at most, though not everyone bothers and most "real" beatboxers don't spit making noises (I mean it does happen but no were near as much as most people think.)
This is definitely not the best thats out there. Beatbox has evolved A LOT in the last 2-3 years. Also it's not correct that Napom is not competing anymore. He competed at the biggest Beatbox Battle in 2021. I'd recommend you to check out GBB21 content. (for example King Inertia Elimination, Napoms elimination or his battle against Zekka.
I like beatbox battle, he is world Champion, he is doing judges showcase, if want to more beatbox like this level, search grand beatbox battle, it biggest event of beatbox
Lol. You should hear the 12 year olds that are starting to show their faces and only fathom where they will be in their mid-late 20's like Napom. M1klz, Immortal, Jollux, just to name a tiny tiny tiny handful.
MORE BEATBOXXXXXXXXX AHHHHHHHHHH King Inertia - Bass God Cod Fish - God Himself D Low - Master Helium - Drum and Bass Ale - 15 yr Prodigy GBB = Grand Beatbox Battle Happens once a year, its like the champions league of beatbox. you can check out TOP 10 drops etc
Listen Rental if you want to figure out how the heck somebody is doing all those noises do you have to check out D low he is legitimately the goat greatest of all time beatboxer
React to some of the kickback battles on Swissbeatbox and bbu online beatbox battle THEY AREEE even better than this video but big props to napom he’s so so sick
May I recommend when doing beatbox reactions to react to the battles or showcases and not the compilations, u miss so much and makes it much harder to understand y they are doing some of the sounds and beats they are doing. Watch the compilations in ur free time and react to the real deal battles.
