This one's special, right? Scott is a beast, and so damn talented. The whole thing was his brainchild. He heard LP's song and couldn't get the lyrics out of his head, and then watched 'Inception' and his brain decided that the lyrics and melody were meant for each other. ❤ Speaking of damn talented, now you HAVE to check out Mitch's cover of Billie Eilish's 'Your Power' . Seriously. It's been suggested to you so many times by so many people, and there's a reason for that. Apart from the astonishing ear candy of Mitch's vocals in it, what impresses me most is that Mitch wrote and performed the piano and synth backing track for it and released it just three or four DAYS after Billie had released it. You will love it, I promise. And Stan for Mitch even more, if that's possible. My (then)5 year old - who is autistic and hard to get interested in anything other than Minecraft - came to a dead stop and was mesmerised for the entire song when I first listened to it. That's how powerful it is 😍

Scott is my favorite. Because he is the heart. The foundation. And in that he is so humble and giving. He always has such a proud smile on his face as he watches others when singing with them. Mario. PTX. Citizen Queen. Shoshanna. Anyone. He is always just happy in that moment of joy knowing they are giving passion. Being the king of soulful riffs & a musical genius are just the bonuses that we get to enjoy on top of him being an awesome human being. Mario has such an underrated voice. Their blend is such ear candy!!! See Scott's proud face watching him go for it? The best!!! The levels of genius here is so impressive. First of all, even hearing those two songs and hearing that they could go together. Then arranging it, choosing person and parts. Then performing it. All while Scott is standing in a half-split to fit in frame, haha! This is just... wow! And Scotts intensity and rasp gets me every time! Their voices together in this are so powerful!
This is my favorite arrangement that Scott has ever done. It's a damn shame it didn't get noticed more. I feel like this arrangement was worthy of a Grammy nod. Brilliant.

It's so great to see you fall into a zone when you watch a video like this. I'm glad you saw the LP one, too, because it is so different, and equally amazing. I like the duet here, because Mitch's voice, while gorgeous, seems more delicate to me, and I sometimes think that Scott is holding back to not overrun him. Mario can stand toe to toe with Scott and belt just as hard as he does. It's a wonderful video, and I agree that it should have millions of views.

He comes close to this in 'The Prayer', but really shines hear. That vocal fry near the end when he sings'I'm lost on you' is nothing short of spine chilling.
