When the Google gods weren't pushing all their corporate agendas to the top of the list, it was incredibly fun to see what random stuff would go viral just because people liked it. I'd love to see the internet return to the amazing chaos that it used to be.
Great reaction. That Cowboy's face and expressions haunted me forever after first seeing this video. You just can't unsee that, no matter how much you want to forget it and unsee it.
Psy thought this would be his last song. Since his debut song (Bird) had 'delinquent vibe', he basically wanted to finish his career with the same vibe. He had no expectations for this song but it blew up and he was able to continue his career as a singer
Yess! This was yg first time filming the video himself also. They have been friends and his team told him it was everywhere and he was like, yea I know. It always is whatever. They had to tell him, no like, it's everyyyyywhere
LOL, I remember even people in my office were trying to do this dance, it was hilarious! You should definitely do "That That" which came out about 3 months ago. It's produced by Psy and Suga.
Omg the middle school memories. my 1st Kpop song before I knew what Kpop even was. 😂 We started doing this dance all in school. Honestly psy probably was the intro to Kpop for most people at least out in the us even if we didn’t realize it haha
I have never seen this either! I laughed, but I am also surprised at how racy the lyrics are for it being out so long ago, and Korea,’s strict conservatism- although it has loosened up some in some areas. Loved it.
This song was released while Psy was still in YG Ent. The song was co produced by YG himself along with Psy & one other person. YG really has produced a lot of great songs. Check out this collab between Tablo & Taeyang ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--zU4Mj9dpUI.html
@@lgrsydney3124 That WAS him. I thought it was, but I couldn't get a good enough look at him. I really like all of them. I used to love Seungri, but was very disappointed when the whole thing broke out.
I remember waiting for this to release. Watched it. Went to bed. Woke up and freaking everyone was talking about it on FB and everything... I was like, why is everyone talking about psy what is going on 🤣 Looks wise super junior is also different and pristin. Psy cut off his sleeves because he was hot and went on tv and he said people were shocked to see fat arms and he didn't realise it would become his thing
I think it was at the Music Awards or something, but Psy put on a killer performance with a big surprise twist in it. I'd definitely suggest checking it out!
Just found your channel, have to say, this was HUGE all over the world! Even here in Scotland 🏴 I had many a drunk dance around Edinburgh doing Gangnam Style🥴🥴😂Your reaction and laugh is the best!😂😂😂
This song is one of the most played songs, on the entire PLANET when it came out and years after. And this is the "first time" you hear it. I call BS on that.
it´s an easy listen and catchy i think that is the key. every age can listen and enjoy it. even my daughter know it and i never showed it to her and she was to little at that time to have heard it. it´s such an iconic song that everyone will know. just like a MJ song and i will always love u with witney. those have the same unforgettable quality. songs that speak to every generation and lingers after years is the best type of song. i think disney song has the same quality about them they are unforgettable
The weird thing about this song is basically everyone in America do not speak Korean (apart from of course immigrants) but it still somehow collided with everyone. This is one of the few ones I've seen with subtitles. I live in Seattle and it was kinda like that with Nirvana and Kurt Cobain and he admitted that all his lyrics were just gobledy gook (Weird Al Yankovic even parodied that fact) but people just went mental when those songs came on. It shows the true value is in the music not so much the lyrics. Other factoid, PSY's dad thought his son was a moron. And then all of a sudden his son is performing on New Year's Eve Times Square. Yeah that shifted real quick didn't it?
