„I like having freedom on stage and moving around a bit, but when I saw the Magic Tour setups I was like, "Oh my God! What am I ever going to do with that? I should have skates to move from side to side". I didn't feel like letting anyone down, so I didn't want to do the tour at first. But I think it's all a mental thing. I thought instead I had to face it and train a lot, and in the end I dismissed everything with an "I'll be myself, I'll give everything I can". So I did some push-ups and after three or four shows of pure agony my muscles started to react positively and after that it was fine. I'm glad I did that tour, because it was one of the biggest and most successful ever, and I'm glad I jumped in." Thanks to God he did it, but sadly never again.
Great reaction! I can tell you've got the Freddie bug. Isn't he fun to watch? That's why the live performances are so much fun. This whole concert is fire. You'll love One Vision, Under Pressure, and Another One Bites The Dust from this concert, Wembley 1986, Saturday night.
This song was written by Brian about the very first tour that Queen ever went on as a band. They were the warm up band for Mott The Hoople which was a very popular touring band at the time. Queen was very well received on that tour and was asked to continue with Hoople on the tour of the U.S. That was the only time that Queen toured and was not the headlining band. I really love this song, it brings me the excitement of the band realizing that they really had a chance their dreams becoming their reality. Thank you for your reaction.
A viewer on a reaction to Freddie's on-stage style said he moves/dances/struts, plays air guitar like everyone dreams of doing. Full throttle. The kind of spirit when as a kid alone, with no one watching. Genuine.
Your adorable. I love your facial reactions 😅too cute. Glad your enjoying our Freddie & Queen Do LIVE AID , you won’t be sorry. It is known as the greatest in history .❤
Love this song penned by guitarist Brian May giving nods to their U.S. Tour while opening for Mott The Hoople, hence the line “down in the city just Hoople and me.” Mott the Hoople is best known for their song “All The Young Dudes” written by David Bowie”. And speaking of Bowie, check out UNDER PRESSURE written by Queen & Bowie from this same concert!! 💛💛
Thanks, Tyy! YES lots of energy - this was written by Brian May, of course - he and Roger Taylor were the "rockers" -- but Freddie & John sure could keep up! lol
You should react to the live version from the Rainbow '74 concert. This song is from their 3rd album Sheer Heart Attack and was brand new at the Rainbow concert. Also Liar from the Rainbow '74 concert is amazing too. Pay close attention to John Deacon (bass) during Liar - he absolutely kills it.
Most of the hard rock songs are written by Brian. Suggest I Want it All the video. They never played this live, but it’s played all the time commercials, etc.🔥🔥💯
