watching you two reminds me of my first reaction to Queen. It was the Summer of 75, I was 12 or so , and was passing an electronics and music store on the way back from picking up some bread and a few items for my Mother. I heard this incredible sound playing on a turntable in the store. (yes , back in the day of vinyl) . It was unlike any music I had ever heard. The vocals were phenomenal, the song was distinctly Pop Rock by nature but was clearly in league of it's own. It was Queens " Killer Queen". I stopped dead in my tracks in front of the store and listened to the whole thing , completely mesmerized by the sheer talent, and musical integrity I was hearing . After it was concluded, I walked in and asked who it was , and had him play it again. From that moment on I spent the rest of my summers in school mowing lawns in the neighborhood , and shoveling snow in the winter , for money to buy everything that Queen produced. It was they who inspired me to be a musician , and travel and play in bands over the years. This was the music of my childhood. And still to this day !RIP Freddie you are a Genius .

The amazing thing about Queen is that they spent just about 20 years making amazing music together, and unlike some bands, none of their songs are quite like any other. They really could do any genre, any style, and they broke the mold in many ways. You want to hear Freddie singing with an actual opera singer? Check out "Barcelona" with Montserrat Caballe. Want some rockabilly? Try "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". As their song "Let Me Entertain You" will tell you, they'll sing to you in Japanese, in the song "Teo Torriatte". Want a short but incredibly meaningful song? Try "Is This the World We Created?". Want a scientifically accurate time travel love song? Try "'39". Want a sci-fi film soundtrack? Have your pick - the "Flash Gordon" soundtrack or "A Kind of Magic", the soundtrack to the film "Highlander". Want a song that could make you weepy? Try "These Are the Days of Our Lives". They have songs for any mood, any occasion. They hVe massive hits like "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Under Pressure", and songs mainly just die-hard fans know, like "The Prophet's Song" or "The Miracle". 20 years of Queen magic to listen to and fall in love with. Not every song is great - almost the entire "Hot Space" album is pretty forgettable apart from "Under Pressure", but on balance there is more good than bad, or they wouldn't be considered one of the greatest bands in rock history. And nearly everyone in the world knows "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions", even if they don't know that they're Queen songs. Their music is timeless and will quite possibly last for decades more, if not centuries. Freddie died 29 years ago, yet his music lives on. Plus, I don't know if it was their idea or their manager's idea, but at least one concert from every major Queen tour was recorded on video from the late 70s onward and can still be watched today. Most bands didn't have that kind of foresight. They were pioneers of stadium rock concerts and elaborate concert sets, and they wrote and played their own music and sang their own backup. They were - and with Adam Lambert still are - one of the most amazing bands to ever see perform live. Freddie lives on through the amazing musical legacy he built with the other members of Queen, and it truly was a group effort. Without the input of Freddie, who of course has died, and John, who retired after Freddie's death, their attempts at making actual new Queen music have not gone well. People forget about John and underestimate him, but he's actually responsible for some of the most iconic bass lines in music history. And Brian and Roger are also considered among the best in their fields. But it was Queen as a whole that made the magic happen, and that's part of what makes them the best of the best. I can't even remember a world without "We Will Rock You". Their music will live forever.

I love this particular live performance of “Save Me”! Please, please, please react to “Who Wants To Live Forever” from Queen’s live 1986 concert in Budapest. They were able to do this concert while Hungary was still a communist country within the Soviet Bloc. Queen did the soundtrack for the movie “Highlander”. This song was the love song for the movie and is so poignant. Another fantastic song from “Highlander” is “Princes of the Universe” but Queen only did this song as a music video and never did it live. Please continue your journey down the Queen rabbit hole! 👑👑👑

He was able to sing opera as well. You can hear him practicing his operatic voice in the song "Exercises In Free Love" there are no words, just his vocal ranges at the top of the register with the piano. It will be one of the most beautiful things you'll ever hear. It's as if an Angel is singing down from heaven..

Love you boys from Texas!! I'm from the UK and I'm so pleased that you love Queen ❤️❤️ I've followed them for almost fifty years and I love them more today than I did in the beginning. We maybe didn't appreciate live music back in the seventies as it was all we knew!! But I'm so happy that I lived through the journey of Queen and I'm still living it, although I'm getting on a bit. Thanks for bringing Queen to the youngsters of today. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks, Boyz - notice how guitarist Brian started on keys... then suddenly he's up there shredding the guitar while Fred takes over on piano - smoothest transition ever -- this entire band is amazing.. including drummer/vocalist Roger on the high notes and John Deacon slapping that bass - lots of people don't realize how many hit songs the bass player wrote for them, including "you're my best friend," "another one bites the dust," "I want to break free" - and others...

Anyway, just as an aside one of Brian May’s passions (and he has many) is wildlife and environmental activism. Hey fellas great reaction. Yes QUEEN can do any genre. I am absolutely loving yalls reactions to QUEEN. Keep them QUEEN videos coming. I got a song for you. Its a ballard written by BRIAN MAY the lead guitarist its called WHITE QUEEN. Do the one video live from the Hammersmith Odeon back in 1975. FREDDIE'S vocals are amazing and there is about a 2 minute what I call a jamming session with all four instruments playing with no vocals its simply beautiful. Thank you for doing QUEEN videos. Take care my QUEEN brothers and have a nice day. Your friend, QUEEN BEE.

Oh yes, Freddie could sing, and he did sing!!! And live, OMG 🤩👑👑👑 That was only his real voice, no auto-tunes, nothing. Only their real voices, all the time. Many times the live performances, the vocals, were better than the studio versions. For real, today can you say that with most (almost all) of the live performances vs studio? It's always auto-tuned, and tech, and sound improvements... With Queen, that was, is real music, organic, true, from the gut music. And the stage performance, like no other...and no naked dancers, no sexual moves...well, sometimes Freddie did take off some of his clothes...and that man was sexiness on two legs, darling 👑👑👑💖💖💖

Ääähhm sry. No speaking about the band? Guitarist Brian May wrote the song played piano (with his guitar hanging of his neck) sung background vocals, played two guitar solos (one slow... one fast) and John did outstanding base lines and Roger was on top shape hitting his drums! I really enjoy how young people discover Queen. But most seem just to do it of the movie! Freddie was the most unique performer ever. But Queen was a band if four oustanding musicians, songwriters and mulltiinstrumentalists.
