Jonghyun was the member who went off during the bridge, which originally was not planned for the performance. I highly recommend listening to more of their music, as a group and as soloists (yes, all five members have solo albums). They each have unique voices and together make some of the best music in kpop. They never disappoint!

Yes, SHINee!!!!! This is why I pester Jim Games constantly to watch SHINee! Jonghyun is the one at the end with the voice you honed on on. He's amazing and very distinctive both within SHINee and with his own solo albums.

I unfortunately got into shinee when the lovely member 'jonghyun' was gone 😞🌹, but I still tend to listen to his solo songs. If you are able to handle it you should listen to "before our spring" ✨ it's hard for me to play that song rn but trust me the song is beautiful just super emotional 🥺

Shinee is known for sounding in concert like their CDs, always pitch perfect. I'm told they aren't really good at lip syncing so they pretty much had to train to be able to sing live. Being in the industry for 15 yrs, as I said, they are pretty darn pitch perfect. Today there are 4 still performing, however, they still consider themselves a 5 member group as do the fans in honor of Jonghyun, the one who was hyping the audence at the end. There are videos of them performing for the first time without Jonghyun. His voice is nothing short of beautiful. Onew 0:51 voice is very Operatic and there are videos of him singing Opera. A while back he had surgery on his vocal cords and had to take a break from sining, obviously. There is a video also of him performing a solo during a concert and it was his first time singing/in concert since his surgery. The song he performed in Japanese was written by a famous Japanese singer who had the same surgery but was and is no longer able to sing. BTW, the concert was in Japan where they perform a lot there and in Japanese. You can see and hear the emotions as he sings and the tears. Onew has said that he feels he sounds even better. Taemin, the "dancer" 1:10 was to be the groups "dance guy." He's called the Michael Jackson of Kpop and there are other great dancers but none like Taemin. He wasn't selected for his vocals and was told he could not sing, at all, but he kept practicing and never listened to those who told him no. Even his group members knew he wasn't really good at singing and would tease him about it but Jonghyun helped him practice just like he practiced learning piano which he has played in concert. He plays for Onew's solo I previously mention. Now, Taeimin's his vocals are insane good!!!! If you watch any of his Solo songs you'll see that. And he was selected to be a part of SuperM which is a group put together of other Idols from other SM Entertainment groups. They are called the Avengers of Kpop. If you listen to their song Jopping, you'll understand why.

Love Shinee so much. Will ALWAYS be 5 for me, just like Minho told the girl in that video Jonghyun is a good uncle. Today has been a difficult day for me emotionally and then I see this holding back tears seeing our sweet Jonghyun. Rest in peace sweet angel you are so missed and loved we will never forget you and your sweet spirit and amazing voice.

One day I saw a performance of Si fuera ella (A latin song from Alejandro Sans) with Jonghyung it blew my mind completely ….so intense you feel it in your bones. So sad we lost him early 💜

John Shinee was one of my first Kpop loves. As many others have commented, we lost Jonghyun, the main singer and leader of the group (the one who lead the final chant) to suicide several years ago. The remaining 4 members are still active and some have solo careers as well as being in the group. I hope you review this and react to more shinee!

This was a very bittersweet video to watch at this time because its close to the anniversary of Jonghyun's passing but seeing these videos brings me a lot of peace and happiness that he is literally the best kpop vocalist of all time, and Shinee really is such a legendary group.

They're so outstanding since debut (because they performed live with dance routine), and all members are super talented in various aspects, from composing songs, writing lyrics, complex dance routine, outstanding vocals, great sense in fashion, good in sports, education, have good visuals etc~ they're also known as an experimental idol group and they always be the one that open the doors to so many new genre in kpop music, they started the practice dance trend, the colorful outfit, complex dance routine etc~ and thats why even after all these years, they're still so strong in the industry~ next year they will celebrate their 15th anniversary~ and I'm so excited for their comeback next year ^^ #forever5 #5HINee

This performance of "Excuse Me Miss" was from SHINee's SHINee World Concert IV (SWC4) in Seoul in 2015. However, the song was originally released in 2013. And yep, still timeless. This is the concert where the majority of SHINee's best live performances are from, and I guarantee that your viewers will eventually request you react to every song and every stage from this concert, because that's how iconic this concert is. If you watch this full set or, even the full concert, you will see why Jonghyun goes into that phone booth at the end. (Each of them are going to their own phone booth on stage.) They are about to perform their next song, "One minute back." And you also really need to see their performance of "Close the Door," Which they performed right before "Excuse Me Miss." Fun fact: The live performance is an extended version of the song. If you pay attention, right before Jonghyun, "went off" what he said in English is, "This is a new bridge, listen." SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Their main vocalists are pretty good rappers and their rappers can fill in as main vocalists at anytime. Most Shawols will tell you we can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with our eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. I can tell who is singing every line of their songs even if it's a brand new song that I have never heard. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop". SHINee are known for their live vocals and amazing dancing. They are known as CD-quality singers because they sound just as good live, if not better, than they do recorded. SHINee always sings live. The ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing so they avoid it at all costs, so when you hear SHINee singing 95% of the time it will be live. It's a running joke between the fans and the members that when SHINee lip syncs you can tell because it's very obvious. So unless they are required to lip sync for a specific reason, SHINee will always sing live. They have trained their entire career to build endurance and stamina by doing intense cardio exercises while singing to be able to sing live and continue to sound flawless while performing extremely complex choreography for more than 3 hours straight in concert. SHINee where designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do is meant to be the first and they are expected to create the trend. Shines is 5 always and forever. They are the live kings of Kpop...always perform live vocals everytime. If you check out more lives from them you'll see that they can do crazy choreo and not miss a note singing... Everybody and Nightmare are some of these. SHINee are legends. Minho and Key are the baritones...giving the lower harmonies here...no vocal recording in a SHINes concert...other groups would come and watch them practice just to see them sing live while doing crazy choreo. There's so much to see from them...I hope you continue on the SHINee journey.

Yeah SHINee! I’m pretty sure you’ve reacted to Taemin’s Advice before and Taemin is the youngest member of SHINee (the one with longer platinum blonde hair). This is such a cool performance, so much fun with the audience. And you’re right they all have great vocals - versatile and unique.

The one you said is a great performer, is no longer with us, but Shinee was formed with 5 members, atm only 4 are active.

My top kpop group, group tracks and all the solo work from each member. Their debut song "Replay" is one of the top songs on my playlist, love them so much. Heartbreaking what they have had to experience in the industry.

Shinee was the first (and for a long time the only) group that attracted my attention other than BTS. They are soooo good!! I love to hear Ring Ding Dong, Replay, Don't call me and a lot of others... they have a groove I like a lot!! Unfortunately, Jonghyun left us, but his marvelous voice can be appreciated thank to the videos... a big lost...

Hi John, been a sub foe awhile now. I don't comment because I watch RU-vid thru my Amazon Fire Stick but I had to drop a line. Shinee is one of my favorite Kpop groups along with BTS of course also Got7. I know you have done some Jackson Wang reactions and wondered if you know he is part of Got7? You should do a deep dive into to both Shinee and G7. Thanks for your content. Btw, I am an old lady who is into k-pop, go figure.

First: you have already reacted to 2 members: Key(gasoline) and Taemin(advice and one(super m)). 2: there are and always be 5 members- our 4 diamonds Onew(leader) Key Minho Taemin(makne-youngest), and our moon Jonghyun(he was obsessed with the moon and very unfortunately passed Dec. 18,2017). Each and everyone is a soloist in their own right, they ALL sing/rap/dance and have had writting credits on their songs. No one kpop boy group like them. SHINee is the only other k-pop group I listen to besides BTS as they are as versitile musicwise. You probably know by now but we lost Jonghyun by suicide five and a half years ago. You obviously know your stuff. :D To have never heard/seen SHINee and then immediately pin-point Jonghyun as the one member who stood out above all others as THE vocalist and performer means you know music AND showmanship. Your observations once again underscore how much we lost with Jjong's passing. Love you Jonghyun.

I was doing fine until we got to the bridge and suddenly I started sobbing, I'm crying still while writing this. Hearing Jonghyun and seeing him to this day breaks my fcking heart. I was doing fine the whole performance and then we got to the bridge and I completely broke down. I started listening to kpop when SHINee debuted, and they were it for me at the time. I loved them, and Jonghyun is one of the best I've ever seen, he was good down to his heart, and he was my bias. God. It still hits me so fkcing hard, specially since his anniversary was yesterday.
