i love seeing people react to great new(old) music. That's why I don't even listen to new music really... hard to keep up., but there is plenty of great music already made that I have to catch up on.
Yep yep the 1980’s ruled. This was her only US Billboard number one. But this is her calm side. This entire album was more mellow for her. Try Tell It To My Heart. She was on FIRE seriously
Taylor Dayne is Truely one of those angelic and power house voices that is t pushed… it’s just natural. And I mean, the woman is beautiful as hell. Even today, looks and sound and talent, she’s still got it. She recently did an appearance on the masked Singer. And blew us all away again.
I love your reactions but this one was amazing. This has been my favorite song for so many years. Last Oct after 17 years apart me and the love of my life got back together i showed him your reaction. You make me smile everyday!!!
I never understood why she didn't have more hits. Her voice is incredible but she only had like three songs I can remember. There's a live performance of this song many years later that I fkn love because of the runs and things she ads to her live performances. Search "Love will lead you back Taylor Dayne Live 2013" if you want to check it out.
This was released in 1989.The 80s wrapping up the end of the decade with 1989 was a banger, because so many Great new songs came out from veteran singers/bands plus New Music Artist starting in 1989.It was a Good Year for Music!
I heard that one soft rock commercial as a kid and this song always stood out to me. It’s had me in a choke hold since then. Her vocals, the instrumentation, the builds …. This song is a masterpiece. Really pulls on the simp in me 😆😆🤣🤣🤣
One of the greatest voices in history!! A New York City girl. She is funny, quick witted, with the sass/fire you would expect from a girl born and raised in NYC.
I rarely see anyone react to music..passionately as I do. God Bless you for that. I grew up in my teens listening to this Artist. Had all of her tapes. Loved your reaction. Your response is my Spirit Animal.
She's awesome. The thing with the 1980s is that the sea of awesome talent was so wide and deep. So many legends for younger generations to unearth still. Fun reaction. I'm about to sub.
Fun Fact --- This song was originally proposed to the amazing Whitney Houston before going to Taylor Dayne --- Whitney declined the song and ended up with Ms. Taylor Dayne.
She was not underrated. Michael Jackson himself chose her as his opening act for his Bad world tour in the 80's. When her songs came out , legends of soul music such as Whitney Houston, Sade, Aretha Franklin, Prince, Steve Wonder, Michael Jackson were still young near their peak of popularity, so her songs were not played enough, but Taylor Dayne had a very successful career
This song is one of tho songs that make you wanna cry whether your in love or not….lol. Not going to lie and say I’ve never listened to this song on repeat….lol. LOVE this song 💟💟💟💟💟
I could have listened to Taylor for at least 20 more years and she had talent for that long. Imagine a voice like that on the radio today. It’s just that producers are eating voices up. Both Adele and Sam Smith have had surgeries and those voices are back out there again. How long can they last. Taylor had training and notice how big her mouth opens when she sings. I think Kathy Tricolli was in that video with her singing backup. They matched her for Taylor. Then when that ended Kathy went to contemporary gospel and had a career there. Taylor has tried to come back but never made it back for whatever reasons. I could listen to that big voice forever. I’m glad you liked her she was made for it.
I read down through a few of the other comments and I completely agree with those that said listen to, “I will always love you” and she knocked it out of the park singing one of my favorite singers, Mr Barry White, with “Can’t get Enough of Your Love”.
She s a great singer. 1989 it came out. Also , the late great Roxette came out then with a nice song you would also like called Listen To Your Heart. Keep up the good work my friend. You got style.😊👍
Top ten singer for me of all time. Powerful ballad singer, and can rock it out. She covered Barry White “ can’t get enough of your love”. It is better than Barry White who was awesome. Sold 75 million records worldwide.
Wanna know the kicker about this ? Leslie Wunderman (aka Taylor Dayne) didn’t even like singing ballads. She just wanted to skip ahead to the fast songs. She found sappy love songs pointless. Lol She sure could have fooled us all…
