Taylor is one of music's greatest songwriters. Her lyrics cut deep. This track is no different. Especially when another fantastic artist like Bon Iver comes in an co-writes it. This track has been stuck in my head since the album dropped and it destroys me every time. Really hits close to home.

This is from acoustic songs known as Long Pond Sessions written and preformed during Covid. The male singer is Justin Vernon, lead singer of the band Bon Iver Taylor and her folks were in upstate New York and Bon Iver I believe was in Wisconsin.

Taylor has intertwined a love triangle into the album; she’s truly a gifted artist who doesn’t get as much credit for what she does as she should.

That was also a collab (Gary Lightbody from the band Snow Patrol). The earlier song is similar in theme,instrumentation and song content.
