This song is about a few people but is largely pointed at Kim and Kanye. The “tilted stage” references how Kanye used to tilt his stage at his concerts lol.

She went from being loved on social media to everyone spamming snakes wherever she went after the lies from Kim. So she decided to embrace it.

Wow I am early hello. The snakes were a theme throughout the Reputation album. Kim Kardashian had called Taylor a snake after the phone call drama, and when Taylor was "cancelled," haters started flooding her social media comments with snake emojis. KK tweeted on national snake day "there's a day for everyone - I mean everything these days" throwing shade at Taylor. So Taylor decided to own it and make it her "thing" for this era. The big snake that comes up behind her is named Karyn :) This song in particular is about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The tilted stage is a direct reference to Kanye's tilted stage he had on his Saint Pablo tour. The music video has a lot of snakes in it, she sits on a throne while snakes serve her tea, so this performance mimics the video a bit. A fun extra - I saw the Rep tour in Cleveland and it happened to fall on national snake day, so she said "happy national snake day, my favorite day of the year!"

It is passion, but it's also a fantastic work ethic and an appreciation of what it means to be a performer. She doesn't "dial it in". Fans pay a lot of money to come and see a show and that's what she's going to give them. She wants to perform for them and get those songs out there. She doesn't want to rely on recorded voice during her performances. That's not what people are there for. Being in shape so she can actually do all that is important, and she respects that.

You should check also the music video for this song. It is crazy heavy with easter eggs. Most of them you will find after from the comment section lol.

She has written so many different songs in so many different styles and genres, that I don't think it would be possible for anyone to hate all of them if they chose to listen with an open mind.

The reason for the snakes is because Kim Kardashian called her a snake. Kim and Kanye leaked edited footage of Taylor approving Kanye calling her a " bit*h" and saying that he " made her famous". The phone call was edited and basically ruined Taylor's reputation. Everyone called her a liar and a snake and sent death threats, and tweeting about hating her. Since everyone called her a snake she took the mantle of one. this album is about her clapping back at Kanye and kim and the haters as well as the media, who all bullied her into hiding and not posting, putting out music, or doing interviews for a year. Despite all of that drama taylor finds love, she wrote alot of songs about her lover on this album and how she dealt with the drama and how she doesnt let it affect her anymore

I think Taylor Swift is very motivated by the idea of beating her own records. Like, whenever people start saying she’s reached the pinnacle of her career she just keeps on going. I don’t think that’s realistic for everyone to attempt but it is hella motivating to watch nonetheless.

So yes, many not us were already grown when she came on thescene, but she put all her growing experiences I to all her work - want to see another grows. This was the music video that turned me into a Swiftie. It's not even really the song - it doesn't even break my top 25 Taylor songs. It's the whole f*ck off vibe that made me sit up and pay attention. I had also only heard her songs on the radio and she just wasn't my kind of music. And then LWYMMD dropped and I saw that shift, and the end scene where she pokes fun at all of her past selves, and I was sold.

Kanye released a song where among other things he calls her a bitch and says he made her famous etc etc. After the song came out, she clapped back saying she was upset by it. Kim released a 6 minute recording of Taylor allegedly oking the whole thing and 'being in on it'. People flooded Taylor with snake emojis. About 2 years later the full 25 minute, unedited version of the call was leaked. It showed there was a lot more to the call. Taylor was clearly really uncomfortable throughout. Overall, Kanye said the whole song was going to be really kind and in good spirit and funny and not at all bad. That the song was about making up and putting things behind you. At one point in the call she said she would like him to send her the song so she can consider it more but from what he told her it wasn't as bad as she thought it could be... that she thought he was 'going to call her a bitch or something'... Song then came out and it wasn't what he'd said it would be. ....he then edited the lyrics to also include the bitch part. But overall it's not just about being called a bitch. Kanye said the song was going to be nice, about burying the past, and was going to be funny. But the song was pointedly so mean towards her and then in the video he put a nude Taylor look alike in it. The song's spirit was really awful. Not what Kanye said in the video.

Her album, "REPUTATION, " is a FU to her critics, Kanye West, Kim K. Katy Perry.. Anyone who came at her. THE WHOLE ALBUM IS FIRE!!
