Actually it's "Ten Years AFTER". Love your enthusiasm! Yeah, Alvin was quite the guitarist, to say the least! If you get around to coming back to them, check out "Let the Sky Fall" and "I'm Going Home" live version from Woodstock.
Love this song! Ten Years After are a British blues rock band from the 60s-70s. They had some great songs such as "I'm Going Home", "Hear Me Calling", "A Sad Song", "Let The Sky Fall", "Love Like A Man", "Working On The Road" etc.
One of my favorite bands. Thanks for acting to it. Totally right on. They have so much great stuff. I would definitely just say check out other things for this album for, I've been there too, once there was a time, etcetera.
Alvin Lee was a monster blues guitarist. Just listen to the fills he puts into this song. He blew away the crowd at Woodstock in 1968 with his speed guitar licks. And he was the lead singer as well. The point of this song is that so many people were protesting to save the world but they had no idea what to do next or how to truely fix it and that was what he was saying.
This is one of my favorite bands that I got exposed to in high school by the older people from the 60s. Oh my God and I pretty much own all of their record albums and love every song on every album. But yeah I've been a musician my whole life and of course I know the gorillaz. And I really love it when you introduce new music to older people and half the time you're going to get this deal about how music's no good anymore and it just proves that they never were musicians❤ but it's fine.
Since you loved this one, I know you'll like this pure blues song from Alvin Lee, featuring George Harrison (Beatles) on slide guitar for the first solo and Alvin doing the 2nd solo. This song is so smooth!! It's called "The Bluest Blues". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rB6OlJqV1rQ.html
