A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ RU-vid. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of RU-vid I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on RU-vid won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This RU-vid channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

I'm a TV Producer who worked with Charlie Daniels, for about a year. Charlie was one of the greatest human beings, I ever had the privilege to work with. In fact, he was adamant, that I call him, "Uncle Charlie." Charlie would constantly tell me, "Son, 'Devil went... Georgia' was the CDB's greatest blessing and our biggest curse. Before it, were just a Southern Rock band, like Lynyrd Skynyrd. But, because we wrote one song, with a dang fiddle in it, we were labeled as: 'Country', for rest of lives." Oh, it should also be noted, that Charlie only hired me, because he thought I was black. I'm actually a white guy, whose resume shows he worked on lot of African-American Productions. But, after 6 weeks together, one night, Charlie finally let it slip, "Ya know, Steven. I only hired ya, cause I thought you was a black fella, that I wanted to give a chance to... But, you're alright." -- "Thanks, Uncle Charlie" -- RIP: Uncle Charlie

I met Charlie Daniels, and have been to many of his concerts. He was so down to earth and loved to entertain people. When He was in fifth grade his violin teacher said he wouldn't amount to anything as a violinist...Charlie showed him!! My dad was good friends with him. My dad passed away in February 2020. Charlie passed this summer. I know they are enjoying each other's company in Heaven. Charlie would go through two or three fiddles every concert because he played so hard the strings would snap!! What a talent!! The band as well. The pianist Taz DiGregorio was EPIC!! He passed many years ago. 🙏💙😇

I saw Charlie Daniels in concert (for the first time) in Oklahoma last December (2019) with Travis Tritt. Charlie was so dope and could still shred on his fiddle. He expressed his love for the USA, it’s citizens, and especially its men and women in uniform protecting our freedom and there was not one dry eye in the theater. He also saw a young boy in the front row who was dancing to the music and Charlie walked right over to him in the middle of the song and gave his bow to the boy. Pretty awesome souvenir and memory for that youngster. Now that he has suddenly passed I’m deeply saddened but also thankful that I decided to buy that ticket and drive from Texas to Oklahoma to see him perform. As I sat there just a few rows back I was amazed at how spry he was for being in his 80s. It just goes to show you that live is precious, health is paramount, and every day is a gift. RIP Charlie!

The only good country music is old country music like this

Chris Stapleton is an exception to that rule, but otherwise I agree.

@@RLKmedic0315 I do like Chris Stapleton a lot. I think of his music as more bluesy southern rock Style rather than just straight-up country. The pop country music that is what you mostly hear now is awful and I can't listen to it

One of my biggest flexes is that I got to see them before he passed. It was an AMAZING performance! He still had up to the very end!

I love seeing a new generation of kids finding joy in the music I grew up with. My parents and grandparents used to play the Charlie Daniels band on 8 track tapes in the car. I remember The Devil went down to Georgia was the first song my mom let me call and request on the local radio station. Too funny! I raised my kids with that music as well as the 80's music I loved. Arena rock, hairbands, new wave, metal, even country really anything with a good beat we loved it. Their friends used to think their music choice was odd but now they are always getting asked who is this or what is the name of this song when they are out with all the older music becoming more popular again. RU-vid shows like yours is only helping to fuel the love for a generation of great music by exposing people to artists and types of music they may have missed. I look forward to hear more from you.
