They started like all bands do - by doing covers. But they're a proper band now with 3 albums & 1 EP of original songs.

The Warning are the Villarreal Velez sisters. Daniela on guitar, Paulina on drums and Alejandra on bass. Dany, Pau, and Ale were 14,12, and 9 in this video. Now 22,20, and 17. They redid this cover with Canadian singer Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist album( 30th anniversary of the Black Album). Dany sings lead primarily, Pau sings lead on some, Ale will sing lead if Dany is sick or needs a break. They spent all summer touring with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. During their set at one show, when Dany needed to switch guitars, the tech grabbed the one she had and left the stage. Lzzy Hale came out and gifted to her a new Gibson Explorer. Dany thought she just got to borrow Lzzy's guitar. After the set, Lzzy told Dany it was hers. To hear an original, try Money, Choke, Error, Disciple, or Dust to Dust (Pau lead vocal).

I am happy you chose Enter Sandman(2014). Can't wait until you see Enter Sandman(2021) with Alessia Cara. You are infatuated with them now. Can't wait until you fall in love with them. They love their fans. Created a concert for them when Covid canceled their 2020 Mayday tour, and streamed it live(from their home studio, The Warning Cave). They keep in contact with their fans thru instagram, Facebook, Spotify, actually any social site around. They are the Real Deal. They have 4 albums out...yeah, 4!!! All their own lyrics and composed music. Pau, the drummer, is the main brain of the music and lyrics(85% maybe), but all contribute to each song. All 3 are classically trained pianists. This will be so much fun!!! Woohoo!!!

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 22) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to RU-vid for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RU-vid and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... I am 66 years old and first heard The Warning when they played Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara. Since that time I have been hooked on them! They are unique in this day and age and have become masters of their instruments. I do not want to give to much away but I suspect that like the rest of us you will fall in love with them and their music. This was a great reaction and now subscribed. Thank you. Just wanted to add that among their amazing talent is writing. They work well together to write and then putting their words to music.

In 2021 Metallica asked The Warning to be part of their Blacklist Album, that's were Metallica asked 53 different Artists to do covers from their Black Album for it's 30 anniversary and The Warning teamed up with Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara and they did a cover of Enter Sandman but it's not really a cover but a reimagining of the song they made it their own so it's like a whole new song and they also made a video for the song.

The Warning is the best thing that could happen to the World! These sisters are something else! ⚡ 🔥 🤘

These kids were sent from planet Zork to bring a warning to the human race about our current techno-frailties. Their parents, a dentist and a civil engineer, must have felt like caretakers and shepherds, guiding them through the practical maze of development. Every time I see their older work, I just stare and listen in awe. Check out Trey Salazar's channel, where he has compiled their concert at Liceo de Monterrey, the private school for girls where they grew up. It was in June, 2015. There are some jaw-dropping moments there. Ale playing the insane bass line from Muse's *Hysteria* is one of them. Pau singing *Escape the Mind* solo on piano with her schoolmates singing along is another. Nearly all their official concert recordings are pure fire.

They are three incredibly talented sisters. You should also check out their reimagining of "Enter Sandman" they did with Alessia Cara.

Actually today they are 22, 20 and next month December Ale will be 18.

At that time the three are a school band and the video was intended for their relatives and friends. Because it went viral, they received a scholarship for a semester at a university. The seminar was for 16 year olds and none of the three were that old. Around that time they also released their first EP where they are still searching for their style. They end up with a mixture of hard rock and metal. Two more self-published albums followed and the current one on a Universal SubLabel. There they have a record deal for a total of five albums. For Metallica's Blacklist album, they covered the song again, this time in their own style. You can see their development here. Once you start listening to this band you will realize just how amazing they are. Their second album is a concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene, written by kids in their mid- teens. The album will blow your mind.

I'm very impressed that Daniela did the song on a hardtail Les Paul. A very different guitar than the tremolo equipped strat bodied Ibanez. Also not rhythm guitar is cool considering the original studio version had 3 rhythm guitars overlayed. Bonus: they didn't have to hire or sample a kid for the Lord's Prayer part of the song. lol

The Littl Lady Ale, is now the tallest of the 3 sisters, lol. They have a shared destiny & were born to be Rock Stars 🌟 You'll get lots of recommendations & honestly they don't have any bad songs, Enjoy !! 💯❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘

Disciple is a song I hope you check out. It really shows cases all three ladies. A song with a message, Ale's killer bass line, The harmonies of all three, The duet between Dany and Pau, the great fills on the drums and the melodic guitar riffs. These three wonderful ladies are great role models as well. They have family values and have surrounded themselves with a great team.

I saw them in Vancouver last night. Amazing live performance. I assumed they would open with Z, but they went with Dust to Dust. Even knowing their material, I wasn’t prepared for the impact of the combined bass and drums. Full power from the 1st note…so good. Many of the Three Days Grace fans around me weren’t familiar with The Warning. As soon as their set was done, the cell phones came out and people started getting more info and downloading The Warning’s music. Lots of new fans

You mentioned kids playing video games, well Dany and Pau got interested in rock by playing the Rockband video game. Ale' was too young at the time but used to watch big sisters play. They are all classically trained on the piano. There is so much to love about these young ladies that The Warning Army will give you all need to know.

Pau the drummer is a beast, even at this age. Ale is a technically excellent bass player who can put her notes exactly where she pleases. Together, if you ever get to stand in front of them, the impact may give you a rib injury. Add Dany, a positive force of nature that many call The Lightning, and you have The Warning.

You should see them now!!!!!! And the drummer is outstanding, then and now. Such a talented TRIO!!!! The bass played continued to look like a young teenager until last year. Now she really doesn't!

You shall check their work chronologically so you can see their progression and talent evolution. Such an amazing band!

I recently bought all three of their albums. They are the kinds of albums where you put them on in your car and never hit the skip button. I’d recommend also an all-female band from Japan called Band-Maid. They and The Warning are mutual fans and finally got to meet in person when they both played at the recent Aftershock festival. Both also have opened for Guns N Roses in the past few days. The official live video of Band-Maid’s song “Domination” is a good place to start with them.

I never get tired of seeing this. Their talent development is straight up from here, and started out amazingly high to begin with. You are in for a treat. They never disappoint.

“She has a strong voice.” - Dany has only gotten stronger since then. Pau is an absolute force of nature on drums, and she also sings lead on a few of their songs (while drumming). Ale has not only grown up physically, but she consistently brings the thunder on that bass (now a full-sized Spector 5-string). You also got her nickname right without being told how to pronounce it in the comments. It doesn’t seem like a wild guess that you speak Spanish. They have a couple songs in their native language that are absolute bangers (in two very different ways), but those are a few years down the road from this video.

You need to see The Warning now (aged 22, 20, and 17).

Can’t wait for this! I discovered this channel not so long ago thanks to “That’s Not Acting Either” Since then I was waiting for a reaction for The Warning. I was so sure Rosalie will like them so much. They are amazing! In songwriting, lyrics, energy, live performances… everything.

This was my first time here but it appears you are interested in bands from around the world. In addition to The Warning being one of my favorites, the ladies in Dea Matrona from Northern Ireland are also favorites. They are classic rockers and don't have as much original music as The Warning but are on the rise. They began with school friends Orlaith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn busking on the streets of Bellfast (after they made too much noise in Mollie's garage). They added Mollie's younger sister Mamie to play drums (she has since left to focus on school). They've have had a couple iTunes #1s in Ireland and UK, won Best Single and Best new band in Northern Ireland Music Prize in 2021 and played festivals around Europe and toured Europe with Eagles of Death Metal and opened for legendary classic rock acts Van Morrison and also Status Quo. Covers of Crossroads, Oh Well, Cradle Rock, Gloria, Helplessly Hoping and Homeward Bound show their range from hard blues rock to softer acoustic singer songwriter. Live session videos of originals Stamp On It and So Damn Dangerous are great and you will notice that Mollie and Orlaith will switch between guitar and bass. Their Late Late Show tv performance of Make You My Star and their softer videos of Glory Glory (I Am Free) show their diversity in originals too.

I first discovered The Warning back in mid 2015 and have not missed a single day for well over seven years in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters. It was this very video that got me started following them. In my almost 63 years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. I am proud to say that through their various fund raising campaigns and Patreon I have supported them through their entire journey. From very early on I knew they were special and have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time.
