oh i'm glad you listened to txt their music is great!!! they dont have a certain style of music, they always change with each album and even changes within the same album but maybe you can say they're more rock influenced (as opposed to bts for example that are more hiphop influenced) and their music overall talked about their journey and they're divided into chapters. this song is from their latest album "the name chapter: freefall" which talks about the freefall back to reality and embracing adulthood after being in neverland, a place where a person never grows up and they remain as children, which was what their previous album "'the name chapter: temptation" was about.. i would suggest you listen to "growing pain", "frost" and "0x1 = lovesong" (which namjoon co-wrote btw)

I agreed, first time heard this song without knew who belong to this song 2 months ago, I think it's originally from 80's, but then I know that song belongs to TXT. And since that, My playlist become TXT's songs. I love all the songs, and all the members have an uniquely characters and great vocals.
Thank you for the reaction!! TXT is my favourite group alongside BTS and I've never once been disappointed by the music they release. They're all incredibly talented and they don't have set positions, aside from the leader position which is Soobin, so they're all trained in singing, rapping and dancing (though some members do certain parts more than others) I'd love to see you react to more of their stuff! 0X1=Lovesong, Loser=Lover, Frost and Blue hour are some of my personal faves. My biggest regret is not stanning them sooner. I'm ARMY first but knew that if I were to stan another group it would be TXT. I was able to catch them on their last show in LA for their US tour in May and was told to listen to their music before the concert but I never did. 😂 But OMG, they were so amazing and charming. Needless to say I became a MOA that night and I can't wait to see them again. I'm so happy to have seen both BTS and TXT in concert. They truly do have a great discography but my number 1 recommendation is Tinnitus (Wanna Be A Rock) and yes, 0X1=Lovesong and Lo$er+Lover is a must listen. Oh, another is compilation of BTS and TXT interaction because it the cutest thing ever and will bring a smile to your face.

what a nice surprise!! txt is my favorite group next to bts 💗 the journey through their discography is about friendship, self-discovery, firsts loves and heartbreaks, and growing up (among more themes), and specifically in their latest album they talk about entering adulthood so i relate to many of their lyrics as i'm in their same age range. i saw many people already recommending 0x1=lovesong and definitely, it's one of their bests. other songs i love are dear sputnik, growing pain, skipping stones, farewell neverland, ghosting, maze in the mirror, no rules, 20cm and run away. also they are soooo good live, i think you'd enjoy watching some of their performances! thank you for this reaction :)

Oh my gosh, I’m so excited to see you react to TXT!! Definitely love the group, they’re in my top along with BTS and Enhypen. If there’s one song I always recommend to people getting into TXT it’s 0X1=Lovesong or I Know I Love You. It embodies this feeling of nostalgia and it’s one of the songs you have to scream in the car. When I listen to it any and all frustration that I feel can come out and be released while singing along. I’ve heard some people say that it’s fitting for a “Coming of age” movie. thank you so much for reacting to txt! as a moarmy (moa (txt's fandom) + army) who loves both bts and and txt and watches your bts reactions, this is a nice surprise! to answer your question as to what feeling they're chasing, txt mentioned that the song is for young people who may be burdened and stressed with the cold reality of life, so the song recognizes their determination to strive and chase after their dreams and aspirations. a lot of txt's songs have lyrics that the youth can relate with, but you're absolutely right, the lyrics can definitely be open to interpretation by the listener! i totally understand if this sound isn't for you, but don't worry, txt has a very diverse discography like bts! i would personally recommend 0x1=lovesong (namjoon helped write the lyrics for this song!), growing pain (there isn't an mv for this song), puma, can't you see me?, and frost; hope you get the chance to check them out :)

I saw in another comment that you reacted to "Frost," and I'd like to second some recommendations that you should check out the special performance video for that song in addition to the MV, if you have time, since the feeling is totally different. Many people interpret this song in many ways, even within the fandom...which is good, I think :D There's definitely people who agree that this song is about chasing happiness or contentment, and I definitely see that. I think of the song in the context of their larger emotional storylines, which places this song at a point where the person in the story has chosen to face reality and grow up, which feels like a freefall (name of the album). Chasing contentment or satisfaction makes sense there, but so does, I think, the idea of trying to chase feelings you had when you were younger...or even trying to chase the idea of the person you want to become. Anyway, I love this song a lot because I'm really big into the surge of this new style of synth wave. But TXT has tons of music across tons of different genres. If you like how this song sounds, you might like "Thursday's Child Has Far to Go" or "Roller Coaster," both of which are b-sides. If you want to hear more of their rock-influenced sounds, songs like "0X1=LOVESONG," "LO$ER=LO❤ER," "Run Away," "Growing Pain," "Skipping Stones," or the rock version of "Can't You See Me?" might be fun. TXT was the second group I started to branch out to after finding BTS. I’d say over the past year, they’ve had a lot of growth as artist. I feel like this was a pivot for their stage performances. On the new album, they have a song with the Jonas Brothers, Do It Like That as well as a song with Anitta, Back For More. I also love Growing Pains, very rock but they do not have a MV for this song… actually every song from the Freefall album. Prior album songs, Lo$er=Lover, Good Boy Gone Bad, Devil By The Window, Sugar Rush Ride… I have way too many favorites lol.

Oh hey!! Finally Tubatu!!!! (To(2)morrow x(by) To(2)gether). They are my favorite korean group along with BTS. I've been following their journey from the time they were babies (pre-debut) to nnow and they have YET to release an album that did not deliver quality music and storytelling. Like BTS (And most Hybe groups) they also have a fictional storyline running through some of their music videos (normally labeled as +U). They have some of the most cinematic music videos in kpop, especially if you check out the +U videos (Nap of a Star, Magic Island mv, Eternally mv, and Frost). As for song recs, I think you would absolutely love reacting to their rock influenced songs like 0x1=Lovesong (Zero by One Lovesong) where Namjoon had a hand in some of the lyrics, L0$ER = L♡VER, Dear Sputnik (Lollapalooza version) Frost mv, Eternally (You might want to do the song/lyric itself instead of the mv at first cuz the mv is basically a 19min short film), Good boy Gone Bad, and Growing Pains from the same album as Chasing the Feeling. And since you really enjoy live performances, I would strongly sugest reacting to their Lollapalooza performances. They performed for Hobipalooza 2022, and we're invited again as headliners for 2023. TXT is my teen’s favourite group. I really like their sound and got into them after Stray Kids. Actually if you are exploring kpop, maybe try a song from Stray Kids if you are curious about a different and edgier sound. They are a group doing really well in the US Billboard charts this year and recently won VMA for best Kpop and are actually up against TXT for a People’s Choice award. Both are 4th generation boy groups. Their recent hits are S Class, Megaverse, La la la la, Maniac with others such as Topline (rap heavy), Get Lit (EDM, trap) and they have more vocally driven songs too). Hi Bryan 😃wow I was so pleasantly surprised to see the Patreon notification come up for your reaction to Tomorrow X Together (TXT). I had to do a double take as I didn't realise it was you. I'm so happy you decided to give them a listen, react to them. As others have indicated this song is not in any way a signature sound for them. As with BTS they are very diverse with their song styles and genres (as youve now heard from Frost). Also much like with BTS you've got to hear more of their music to understand how diverse, versatile and talented they are and they are amazing live. My thinking on interpretation of the song is similar to yours, that it's about chasing a feeling of contentment, happiness and magic. Something that's often interrupted by reality as an adult, particularly like how they are at the end of this MV. Someone else explained well to you the mini album it is from relates to embracing adulthood after being in Neverland (Peter Pan). You mentioned power rangers, actually the MV reminds me of Ninja Turtles with the sewers lol and of course Inception and Doctor Strange as you mentioned. I find the song really addictive in a good way, easy to listen to and so fun to blast loudly and sing along to the chorus. They have feel good songs like this one, but quite a few of their MVs and songs actually have dark themes and content and when an MV or song seems obviously bright and happy it can be deceiving, or there is an undertone of seriousness and sadness to the meaning when you look deeper. They have always had diversity in their albums from the start. Their songs also have and have always had great lyrics and relatable meaning. And for people who listen to all of their songs they see their music continues to change and have variety in each album release. Their music genres and styles have also changed to suit their themes and messages as their themes are focussed around among other things growing up, change and growth. So with songs around topics focussed on matters that can apply at certain stages of growing up like confusion and angst, with that emotion, it makes sense to have heavier songs with a punk rock vibe which they do. They also however do a broad variety of genres including RnB, ballads, Hip Hop and even have an awesome song with an Afrobeat. As with BTS, their MVs and song lyrics also reference other things, including mythology and literature tied into the themes of youth and growing up, and can be linked together or interpreted on their own. Their mini album The Name Chapter: Temptation for example has references to Peter Pan and the idea of not wanting to grow up and move on in adulthood. Another album Minisode 2: Thursdays Child has songs which go through and represent the 5 stages of grief in relation to a relationship. They are quite genius in concepts and themes, so if you ever want to listen through songs from one particular album at a time its a great experience. You might see some ARMY or others refer to them as "BTS's little brothers" - this is I understand a term they came to be known by from their debut. I understand why people might refer to them in this way. Its certainly an endearing term, but I think its a little frustrating as I think this often comes from people that dont really know TXT as a group or their music well and only know them in relation to BTS, rather than identifying them in a group in their own right. While they are younger than them and were the second group to debut under BigHit after them, and both groups support and respect each other, TXT are independant of them, are a group in their own right and are all very unique and talented individuals in their own way. Being the younger group that came after BTS doesnt define who they are and they are a very different groups. They are amazing singers and dancers and they have some really incredibly synchronised choreography performances. They are very hard woking and passionate and the members are increasingly becoming more involved with writing and production on songs. Though I discovered them after their debut, I understand there was a lot of pressure on them and expectation from the industry and public when they debuted being the group to come after BTS as people wanted to compare them to them. The members all of course respect BTS and are even fans of theirs, but they were at the time of their debut kind of under their shadow and I believe many people thought they had it easy, had an advantage because of them. TXT debuted in 2019 but a lot of people don't realise that they were trainees at Bighit (prior to their debut) while Bighit was still struggling and in BTS's early years when they were less famous and before they had achieved broad sucess. One of the members actually became a trainee at Bighit in 2014 which was only a year after BTS's debut. So when the members joined, Bighit itself was still a small and struggling company. I love how unique their name is. Their full name by the way is actually Tomorrow X Together (X is said as 'by'). Though they are very commonly referred to by the acronym TXT the group usually refers to themselves by the full name though and that is their preference. The fandom, fan name is called MOA. They are also referred to affectionately by MOA's as Tubatu for short - eg. 'Tu' is the beggining of tomorrow 'ba' is by and 'tu' is together. MOA stands for Moments of Alwaysness and also MOA means 'gather' in Korean. So its like a reference to fans gathering together with TXT and always enjoying, sharing and spending time together. The common overarching themes of their music are of self confidence, friendship, growing up, escapism, maturing and the ups and downs of adulthood and life generally. These are experiences and feelings we can all go through, which is why I think their music in terms of the lyrics and meaning can be very relatable no matter your age. Their albums all have themes and each album has different concepts and references. Of course as with other Bighit, Hybe MVs theirs are visual masterpieces and really creative. Something to be aware of with their MVs is that some of these are part of a storyline in the same way that BTS has the BU. So their storyline was originally called TXT Universe (also referred to as TU or +U) and was rebranded as 'The Star Seekers'. When the official MV for Frost was released ( the 4th MV that officially forms part of the storyline) it was the first MV to refer to 'The Star Seekers'. At this time, it was made clear there would be a webtoon/novel of the same name. This was at the the same time when Hybe announced the webtoons for BTS (7 Fates Chako) and another group Enhyphen. The Star Seekers storyline in terms of MVs is only officially 4 MVs (Nap of Star, Magic Island, Eternally and Frost) and though that doesnt sound like much, it also includes other content such as short films, webtoons, and promo photos, even their pre debut photocards and intro videos are tagged as part of the universe. As I understand it however their overall storyline and MV references can be even more complex and multilayered than BTS's BU is. Despite there being 4 MVs which are officially tagged as part of the Star Seekers, fans interpret that many of their other MVs and songs reference and add to the storyline or can also be interpreted as a storyline on its own. Their MVs and songs can be interpreted in a variety of ways though, and enjoyed on their own outside of The Star Seekers storyline (as with BTS's). I've personally read a little bit about their storyline and watched some short theory videos, but havnt gotten into it properly (nor have I BTS's BU). I've even seen fan theories ( eg. Bookish Theories) of possible connections between the BTS and TXT storylines. Personally I just find its a lot to try to understand (and you need a lot of time) especially with how detailed and subtle Bighit can make things and I like to enjoy the songs and MVs first and foremost on their own. I definetly think you can enjoy and interpret the songs and MVs on their own independant of the storyline and their content is definetly multilayered as there are connections between references in songs and song lyrics and themes independant of the story. So I would just suggest you experience and enjoy their songs and MVs as they are, get to know the members and their music, make the connections that you make, and revisit the storyline later if your interested. Having said all that its good to be aware of the existence of the storyline as there are certain MVs that can be very confusing if you are not aware prior to watching them and are not necessarily a great first way to hear the song. So for this reason I want to explain and provide some info here because I think its helpful and important to be aware of. Of the 4 MVs which are certified Star Seekers' content, 3 of these break up the songs significantly and are really more like short films than MVs. This is most particular in the Magic Island MV which goes for 13 minutes and the Eternally MV (which is basically a movie lol) where the 3 minute 38 second song is broken up over a 20 minute video. The MV for Eternally looks very cool and though the video might be an interesting watch whether following the storyline or not, I personally don't think it's the best way to hear the song for the first time. Especially in particular for how unusual and surprising Eternally is. For better impact and actual experience of the song, I would personally recommend hearing it first in one go prior to watching the movie like through a lyric video. The song will shock you (in a good way) if you hear it properly first, but you won't get that experience from the MV as it is so broken up. Also though the MVs have subtitles for the songs lyrics, there is text on screen including as title cards and mobile phone text messages in hangul (korean), in both the Nap of the Star and Magic Island MVs with no translation provided. I don't know why Bighit didn't include this or havnt added them since, but it means there is a lot of context you can't understand not knowing what is written. There are, however, fan edited versions of the MVs with English translation added for this text. Luckily, Bighit has included english subtitles for writing in the Eternally MV. Not necessarily suggesting that these are next for you to watch, but providing links to the official MVs, edited fan versions with translation and lyric video for Eternally for potential future reference or use.
