Congrats you got picked up by a taxi to the airport and made your flight to Phuket. I want to go so bad. Absolutely loved seeing both of your reactions seeing your hotel room for the 1ST time, room looked great and hotel has big pool. Yummy watermelon drink. If they have pork, specially pork meatballs then absolutely. Absolutely love coconut ice cream plain, if you can find hot fudge then definitely. I would have gotten an omelette if for some reason that they did not have shrimp OR specially crab. Crab is extremely cheap here, maybe you both not a fan OK. (( walk over 1 street, go down an ally )) Is she dancing getting ready for the world famous Bangla Rd tonight?? I guess no swimming today / tonight. Amazing sunset to end the video. @@TWOLOVELYPEOPLETRAVEL to cut a long story short, I worked for about 6 months at a Recruitment Consultancy to keep busy before joining the Army, and as a farewell was taken to a Thai restaurant (in the UK), a small family run business. The food was amazing and I was hooked. It would be about 4 years till I had money in the bank and needed to take leave, that I booked a flight to BKK, from which I then headed to Phuket, and I was hooked once more. This was in 2001, limited information, if any, online, I read a couple of Lonely Planet guides before my trip. The food the weather (of course), the people, and the culture, and it's been in my blood ever since. I think I've been about 6 times in total since that first trip, my last stay was a month, and for quite a while I have wanted to move there. The time will come soon when I will be able to realise my dream and move there.
