Took my granddaughter to her first concert Korn and Disturbed she loved it,we got to get wild for 3 hours.

Jonathan's use of nonsensical noises is a style called scat or scatting. Louis Armstrong was the first to do it in the 40s. Many artists have tried to utilize it, but Jonathan Davis is a pro. 💙 from Texas!

So from what I’ve read, Korns guitarists played with a lot of different types of amps and pedals around this time. Hence you get all the types of distortion. Listening to Follow The Leader as a whole and going forth, you wouldn’t believe some of the sounds they manage to get out of the good ole 7 strings

Should I add what Jonathan was doing was a vocal form called ‘Scatting’, which is form of beat boxing you find in most funk music is I believe. But he transformed it and uses it very effectively in the Metal genre that they made. This song was about the new found success Korn was finding, all of the media attention and the pressures of fame, and JD feeling really alienated from the world despite the fame.

1990 to around 2010 that is when GOOD music came out almost every singel day :P i am not counting the 70s and 80s, because we all know that the music from that era was something else! in one way, i really envy they who were 15-16 in the 80s!

Munky...one of the guitar players...has some of the most insane rifs..guitar sounds..I have ever heard...combined with vocals...this is still one of the best bands around...yes..he wears a kilt..hes Scottish 😎👍🔥🔥🔥🔥

lol, surprisingly it helps calm a lot of us down. slipknot and korn are both on my “sleepytime” playlist, no lie. listen to them every night while falling asleep 🤗
