FIRST TIME LISTEN | Ren - Genesis | REACTION!!!!!!!! 

Ok. I’m not even half way through and I have to comment. Man, I don’t know you and I absolutely fucking love you. Like, want to spend an afternoon eating fish and chips and chatting with you. We have different lives, different setting, different players, same same nonetheless. Ren connects people. Full stop. I love love and I mean love how you talk to your imaginary buddy. I don’t know why, it’s makes it so much more authentic and real for some reason. You are so real and present and I appreciate that about you. I won’t lie, I want to be your friend.

Ren can rap rap. I've never seen an artist display such advanced technical skills from so many different musical genres in my lifetime. He literally nails everything I've heard from him so far.

This is a response to your challenge about doing what you love in life despite issues. I wanted to be a sword maker when I was 8 years old, I guess a lot of kids do but I really wanted to. I knew it must be my dream job. People told me I was too young to work a forge and that no one was buying anyway. Fast forward to having no money and being physically broken in and out of a wheel chair at 36...If not then? When? So I took packing crates and I made planter boxes out of them and sold them. I took that money and bought tools to do it faster. I took the new money and bought tools for shaping metal but I couldn't heat treat it, that was more money I didn't have. I found someone who could heat treat and found the amount I needed to treat at once to make a profit. From there it was practice. I am still physically broken, my body doesn't work 3 out of 7 days but I am apprentice to master Scott Sands and my swords sell for 3k each when I finish one, one day if I practice hard my swords will sell for 20k like his. If not now, when?

We need to keep supporting Ren through his recovery. He might lose his creativity for a while, but with our support he will rise as the star he is. The Da Vinci of music will need us and we will be there! 💙

Physical stuff you don't know is happening inside you can also majorly impact your mental health. I thought I was having another breakdown a few weeks back, I lashed out at work which is totally not me, I am constantly physically fatigued, everything was a mental struggle, so I thought the physical fatigue was from being brain fried. I was crying loads, frustrated loads, really REALLY irritable and anxious. Everything was pointing mental health, self deletion thoughts the lot. So, got in contact with the docs, put me on antidepressants for the here and now and sent me for a blood test. Turns out I have a vitamin b12 deficiency. Symptoms? Irritability Depression Fatigue Vision loss (I thought my eyes were getting worse because of my age) Plus a few more things I can't think of off the top of my head but made perfect sense. Am now on meds as of yesterday to raise my b12 and back at work in 2 weeks. Able to come back off the antidepressants in 2 weeks once my vitamin levels raise and my mental health will sort itself out. My advice to anyone struggling mentally, get a blood test. It might be something so simple that's creating the hell you're living in. Much love to all ❤

Thank you Ray! What you are saying about humans and mental health is sooo true. I am a Qualified Mental Health Expert and it pains me to see people who suffer and the numbers are growing. I am no exception either. I have been suffocating from paralyzing depression. I am lost. Ren gives me hope and so do you , man.

This is one of my favorites. I listened until I knew it by heart. I literally use this a biofeedback tool for me. It’s awesome! And when he talks about “begging for a lobotomy”….. I literally asked my neurologist to do that. (He laughed, I wasn’t, but he knew I was just throwing him the extreme “fix” for it. (I had meningitis that messed up my brain and nervous system). It gets to be too much sometimes. So I loved that line and this song! 💗

Initially when this video came out I wasn't vibing with this particular song. However now that the digital album dropped I realized that I love the song and greatly relate to the message. The video just threw me off and distracted me from the lyrics. Now it's for sure in my top 10 Ren songs.

This song reminds me of Patience by Damian Marley & Nas. Soooooo damn good

For me i was homeless, with no job, on parole and i wanted to do art. I bought myself an inexpensive wood burner at walmart for about 25$. I went to home depot and got a few pieces of scrap wood in their free wood pile. I got a sanding block for a dollar at a hobby store. I got a cheap ass pencil to sketch my drawing. Im sitting here doing what i love because i made the time to get what i wanted and what helps me. Im eventually going to do commissions to sell my wood pieces. You do whaat you have to do in order to be happy and find your way in this life. If you cant do an extravagant thing that would make you happy cause of these other reasons. Then start small. If you want to go to gamer conventions but you cant cause of money. Then play games and save the money til you can.
