Almost every cover Angelina has performed since the age of six involves some kind of backstory...usually having to do with the arrangement. In this case, she had an appointment with KORK, the Norway Radio Orchestra, to perform this cover. The orchestra had the music arrangement and after rehearsing was waiting for Angelina to arrive and sing. But Angelina's mother did not approve of a young girl singing the lyrics performed by Amy...a little raw. So Angelina was faced with changing the lyrics or there would be no performance. So the day before and on the way to the KORK studio the next day, Angelina rewrote the lyrics (improvised) and the result was what you hear...and she did this in a way that matched the music so the orchestra did not have to change their music sheets. All this just goes to show what native talent Angelina has for music--in general! Angelina excels in performing a cover that reflects the original in most respect, yet she adds her own stylistics to make it her own. And remember, she has done this to dozens of covers by many, many artists in many genres over a period of ten years...she will be 18 this month.

You are in for a treat as you go down the rabbit whole. Her range is incredible. Check out her later version of her singing Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing. She has done several versions of it including when she was younger, and the later version you can tell the growth in her voice. She was born to sing. I have purposely not listened to ALL of her covers yet. For me, every time I listen to a song from Angelina Jordan, cover or original, it's like Christmas morning and I am 8 years old all over again. AJ was 10 years old here and after her mom read the original lyrics the day before she told AJ that she was going to cancel her studio recording for the the next day.. AJ rewrote the entire song lyrics that night and did this with out changing a single note of the music, also she had a photo shoot the morning of the recording at a amusement park where she was screaming woth her friends on Rollercoaster and other rides

For high notes at the end "Feeling Good" tlive at 10yrs and 'Unchained Melody" at the Nobel Peace Prize 2023 are all great. She is the only person to sing at the Nobel Peace prize twice at age 10 and 17. Her grandmother is Iranian and the person awarded the Peace prize is an Iranian woman who has been in prison 9 years with 21 to go for advocating women's rights in Iran. Angelina met and talked with her 17 year old son and daughter before the performance. She also thanked the orchestra leader for having faith in her arrangement of the music.
