'La rondine' is an iconic song from the early 2000s, full of electropop overtones. For us Italians it was a very emotional moment, Pino Mango was an icon, even if not recognised enough for me. Here the arrangement is different, slower and more intense, Angelina's brother, Filippo, did the arrangement. "La rondine" is about a distance and the feeling of leaving the nest and not being able to find that connection with anyone, it is impressive how now the meaning changes completely (or almost) being a daughter singing to her deceased father, everything makes it all the more emotional.
