Then years later, he set her up, recorded a phone conversation and Kim released an edited version that made her out to be a liar and caused the entire world to start calling Taylor a fake and a liar and she was basically ruthlessly dragged for years, until someone in the Kimye camp released the unedited version that proved Taylor was right all along. However the psych damage to Taylor was already done, she was wrecked emotionally, but she came back with Reputation (there wouldn't have been Rep if there hadn't been Kimye) so Kim tried to destroy her, but provided the building blocks for a great comeback.

To put it bluntly, Taylor is too classy, too smart and frankly way too far above any of these people for them to matter. She forgave him publicly, supported him publicly, wrote a beautiful and very empathetic song about him (called Innocent), and he and his gash of a wife continued to tear her down to the point that she had to disappear for a year. But she came back with Reputation, so fuck all of them. You should watch Miss Americana.

Everyone gave great history. One thing left out - Kim has never apologized for her part in what went down. Her response when someone mentions it to her are things like “I’m over it” or “T.S should move on”. Kim does not get to tell Taylor what to feel or when to get over what she did.

So I'll give the whole run down. She even presented Kanye (he asked her to do it) with the Micheal Jackson video Vanguard award and made fun of the 2009 VMAs. Later on Kanye comes out with his song "Famous" whos video had a naked Taylor on it and calling her names. He received major backlash. Cause Taylor said she didn't approve the song before hand. On KUWTK Kim says she's done with people criticizing her husband and release a illegally recorded convo between Kanye and Taylor on Snapchat which makes it seems that Taylor "lied" and the whole world exploded. SN: during this time I was a major Swiftie and even told people, " mmmm this seems sketch. Kim is shady as hell, I'm team Taylor F*** the haters". Lol stayed true to my girl Ok. So back to the Internet exploding. The "hashtag Taylor Swift is over party" (I refuse to make it an actual hashtag but words were all together) started trending #1 on all social media. Taylor came out with a message basically saying. That convo was illegally recorded. That's not how the conversation happened. So much is missing. I didn't want to be part of this narrative. I don't want to be part of this drama. Even so, she was torn apart. Kim came out on Twitter saying something like, "it's national snake day, they come out with holidays about anyone oh I mean anything". Basically calling Taylor a snake. All of Taylor's socials become bombarded with the 🐍 snake emoji. She's trolled and hated. Taylor left the country, we all think London, for a full year and went into hiding. No one heard from her. She comes back strong with the Reputation album and one main song that stick out is "Look what you made me do", especially the line "I don't like your tilted stage" because at that time Kanye had the tour with a stage above everyone's head that tilts. Her bad a** era started. She did not hold back. It's why she now embraces the snake 🐍 emoji. She owned that shit. Obviously they will never make up. Even so Taylor was still considered a Snake even though she was growing back up in her popularity and that album was amazing. She kept making hit albums with Lover. In March 2020 the full, unedited conversation came out between Kanye and Taylor from someone on Kim's team. Maybe a disgruntled exemployee, they say. It proved all along that Taylor was saying the truth. THE WHOLE TIME, EVERYTHING!!! It vindicated Taylor. Sadly Kim got away with it. Now that thanK you aiMEe came out, Kim is getting her due. At the Tom Brady roast Kim was booed hard at the Live Special. Of course Netflix edited it out but we all saw it. Also on this album Cassandra is also about Kim. One good line from it, "The family, the pure greed, the Christian chorus line They all said nothing Blood's thick but nothing like a payroll Bet they never spared a prayer for my soul" is how all the Kardashians and Kanye try to paint themselves as good Christians and even make churches but not one of them came out with the truth when they all knew it. I don't even care who the players are or what's the actual history, this is a brilliant song about wounds, healing, hate, and forgiveness. The one who forgives, takes a broader view, is the one who gains. And that's a lesson we all can learn from. Taylor being deep and brilliant and catchy all at once, as usual.

OG Swiftie here! Here’s my thoughts. This all started back in 2009 when Kanye interrupted Taylor’s VMA speech. She was 19 at the time and he was a 32 year old grown ass man. He humiliated her, but she had the emotional growth to forgive him. She even wrote a song about it called Innocent on her self-written album Speak Now (she wrote the album between ages 18-20.) They were friendly again and on good terms. Taylor’s album 1989 (the original, not T.V.) came out in October 2014, so the end of 2014 and all of 2015 Taylor was at the peak of her career at that time. In January 2016 the Kanye and Taylor recorded phone call took place. Taylor said she didn’t give Kanye permission to call her “that bitch” in his song and claimed she couldn’t approve of a song she never heard. Kim edited the video claiming that Taylor gave Kanye permission/ her approval and called her a snake which meant that all of Kim/ Kanye’s followers called Taylor a snake and then basically the world canceled Taylor. She disappeared for an entire year! Reputation was released on November 10, 2017 (the 10 year anniversary of Donda West’s passing) and the line was “there will be no explanation, only reputation” meaning she didn’t do any interviews to promote the album. The album sold 1.26 million copies, 94,366 song sales, and 22.69 million streams in the FIRST WEEK without press. Taylor took all the shit the media threw at her and created an incredible album! In 2020, the non-edited phone call between Kanye and Taylor was released and god bless it was like 20 minutes of Kanye chasing rabbits. He was telling Taylor about losing money and owing Kim money, Drake, and how genius his album is. He was also wanting TAYLOR to PROMOTE HIS ALBUM on HER social media. Taylor told him she had too much attention on her at the moment and she just wanted to keep her head down. Taylor wrote about taking an ax to a mended fence (again, she wrote a benevolent forgiveness song on her Speak Now album), burying hatchets but keeping maps to where she put them, calling them liars and just saying “let the games begin.” Well, y’all, Taylor is still clapping back and at the top of her craft. Taylor never did anything to Kim. KK only got involved because her husband has always been obsessed with Taylor. Part of me thinks that he wanted her and bullying her was his way of coming on to her but he failed miserably.
