Falling in Reverse have so many different sounds to them. I would recommend you check out their version of Gangster's Paradise. I will warn you that they do change it up but it is a good/interesting remake. I won't say much more but just know that Coolio approved!

This song was my therapy song several years ago. I was 16-17 at the time, and was in the midst of an incredibly abusive relationship. We went to the same school, which was small as hell, so I could never escape him. I was raped over a dozen times ( some of which were on school grounds), punched in the face 6 times, and the fucker even tried to throw me into traffic. It was only after I broke it off after he cheated on me that I realized how bad the mental damage actually was. I was having hourly panic attacks, and the guidance counselor did nothing. I reported him dozens of times, and only got accused of making up accusations to get revenge because he cheated on me. I couldn’t escape him, even though he had a new girlfriend, I was still his “property”. And he made sure I knew it. By the time I finally got away from him for good, I had been hospitalized 4 times, ( 2 suicide attempts, 1 forced detox because I was addicted to Xanax, and one other time because I had been starving myself.) it was only after my final stay in that hellhole that I got diagnosed with CPTSD. This song helped me through so much. I listened to it on repeat for months on end. I was becoming something horrible,. I was becoming what everyone already accused me of being. But that part at the end, where Ronnie’s daughter leads him out into the light, made me realize something. Everyone, every single person, has something like that. Doesn’t need to be a person, just something worth living for. I found that something. And as of this coming October, I will be celebrating 2 years sober and 2 years away from that abusive asshole. I’m currently making arrangements to get the lyrics “Falling in love with falling apart” tattooed on my chest in beautiful cursive font. This song, this band, saved my life. This was the main song that helped me, but there are several others that were extremely therapeutic. I recommend Chemical Prisoner, Just Like You, Carry On, Super Hero, Drugs, and Losing my Life. Everything this band does is absolute artwork ❤️
