@@DurzoBlint14 try atf situations and gulliontine part 1... Ronnie use to be involved in that band before he went to prison... They are some what more metal then fir not a whole lot but abit
The song was about how depressed he gets when the stresses of popularity combined with the public's view of him makes him look like a bad guy. He has two choices. Give into the depression and become the monster already perceives him to be, or be the father that his daughter Willow needs. He often talks about how Willow keeps him grounded.
I thought it was about him giving up all the drugs and things that he did during his life that was turning him into a monster so he gave it up for the love of his daughter? either way he still loves his kid which more than what some artists do for their kids.
Shona it is his real daughter. Ronnie has stated that on a live stream he did. He says he gets that question all the time so he answered it with, "yes, that's actually my daughter Willow in my videos."
Triple 4 calling it Nu-metal is very disingenuous. And honestly and insult to the new rock/rap fusion/metal core fusion. It clearly doesn’t have a name per say right now. Calling it Nu-metal would be like using 2 cups attached by a string instead of telephone, or a barbarian to a modern day human. It’s just less evolved. A new name is much more suited.
I’d say it’s a blend of Rap, Hard Rock and Metalcore, it’s a unique sound no doubt. It seems to me the message of the song has to do with being popular, having a large fan base that heaps praise on you, tells you how great you are, while inside you struggle with all these demons and feel like a monster, struggling with the difference between how the world sees you and how you see yourself
6:04 "he might need a little counselor, or a little bit of therapy" Ronnie: "But my therapist will tell me that I'm going through a stage Yeah, its not a fucking stage, i just want to feel okay"
Basically dealing with mental health problems. And that’s his daughter. He has her in a lot of his videos. She’s basically like his ground back to reality
@@ltmorningwood2146 I wouldn't consider FIR as emo rap. When I hear of emo rap I think of artists like Lil Peep, shinigami, familypet, 93feetofsmoke etc
Falling in reverse is considered a “post hardcore” band. But they’re essentially their own genre. They’re also rap, screamo, heavy metal, light rock, rock, heavy/hard rock, along with very limited techno, and classical
You can put fir in a specific category that’s what’s amazing with them and they been ahead of the game for a long time now just no one gives them a chance 🙄🙄 he literally is way ahead of the game and he’s been through so much but yet ain’t hardly anybody know his story
That little girl in the video is his daughter. She is included in a lot of the most recent music videos. He uses her as his life line. He is truly an amazing person. He used to be a druggie and everything. The meaning behind it is his depression, addiction, everything that he used to be as the "monster" he was before now. It's actually a really sad song if you think about it
Yeah, but the message can be viewed as happy, as he is moving past his trauma and pushing forward with all his might, falling in reverse, aka rising. He is growing
I love watching reactions to falling in the reverse and ronnie radke because he is such a versatile singer and rapper. He is the most underrated superstars can't believe he isn't more recognized than he is. He has so much power in the way he sings and raps. He should have accolades than he has it should be a crime. His songs are so powerful and relatable that he touches everyone that listens to him or his band. He is a true and absolute artists and doesn't get the recognition that he truly deserves.
I love these reactions but do wish people who react would do their research on the people they are reacting to........ Make it easy for ya He went to prison for drugs n organising a fight where someone unfortunately died.... (he wasn't convicted of murder) Took the fall for one of the band members he was with called.... Escape the fate.... Whilst in prison escape the fate got a new singer brought out a new album whilst playing the songs Ronnie radke was involved in.... Neve paid him his rights to those songs he was involved in.... Then during his first album with fir he does a song called raised by wolves where the breakdown he says this war is mine.... Which corresponds to a song by escape the fate with their new singing... (the guillionte) where their break down is this war is ours.... Then after fir first album he stopped going after them n went his own way had a daughter n most of these songs are about how he don't want his daughter to find out who he was in the past and how he's better now......... I missed alot of details out but there's a few
I never knew he was in escape the fate and have been listening to falling in reverse for YEARS, ive listened to so many songs by not only falling in reverse but also escape the fate and never knew any of that. Thats fucking crazy
"What did they have for breakfast this morning?" had me dying lol. So glad your doing metal music reactions since I'm so heavily into it. Thanks for the vid!
Falling In Reverse transcends genres and are really on a whole level by themselves. They originated more as a pop-punk/post-hardcore/metal core band but Ronnie has blurred so many musical lines that the band is truly in a league of its own. Ronnie is honestly one of the most talented individuals from his sheer vocal range to the fact that he can play piano at a concert pianist level. He’s truly phenomenal and people don’t give him the credit he deserves. I’d totally recommend checking out more of their stuff! You won’t be disappointed
Hes recovering from depression, guilt, embarrassment, much more the pain in his song can be heard by the right audience. I feel the song. Hes singing from the voices in his head. Which is the best material ever. He has really out done himself.
Hell yeah man glad to see you reacting to this. I grew up listening to their old stuff and they got me into metal, hearing how much Ronnie has changed and how their music has changed is just amazing. Thank you for being open to all kinds of music, your content and influence is amazing.
Bro I wasn't going to subscribe... But then you made me laugh for the first time today when you said "what did they have for breakfast?" And making me laugh today earned you a sub. Thanks man
Josh uh. Not exactly. It’s about how when everyone continues to label you things that you aren’t to make you look like you are and it gets to the point that you become exactly what they say you are. A monster.
OneMANarmY lol yeah, I found that out yesterday (11/24/19 for people who read this much later on). Literally the only reason why I know this is because I read a direct quote from him. It’s really amazing how people can take how they feel and turn it into music.
Actually, many people have this kimd of voice in their heads. But Ronnie can turn this voice into the songs. It is his geniality. It probably keeps him alive.
Ronnie is always such a great combiner for music. He knows exactly what mixes. And to follow with the meme..... Everyone: What genre do you want this to be Ronnie: Yes.
I love this song and most of their new music its about his life and how he hit a spiral downward and how his daugher is the only one helping him fight his demons, while everyone just treats it like its another day.
With how many likes/views this has pulled in, I'm surprised Ronnie hasn't done a reaction to your reaction. He loves streaming on Twitch and interacting with his fans (and critics) and is more than happy to give you some spotlight. I'll throw this his way and see if something can come from it. As always, love your content!
@@azmod3ous192 I had literally never heard of them before a week ago when I heard this song. When I heard this song, to me that's how I felt years ago. I started looking into a bit of the band's history and read that about him. Still a great song! 🙂
No doubt man. When I first heard it. I was shook. I felt it in my core. I battled PTSD and severe Depression earlier this year and almost ended it but it's shit like this that keeps me going. To know I'm not alone in this.
@@azmod3ous192 it's never 100% gone, but you're correct you're not alone man! I work in Addiction Rehab, so I'm able to talk people a lot who go through it too. Hopefully I'm able to make a difference with them. Keep your strength man, you've got people rooting for you whether you realize it or not.
This is the exact moment when your mind breaks and you lose complete control....notice the end where the only thing that brings him back is the child that reminds him of happier times
I just started listening to Falling in Reverse as well and I’m already becoming a Stan. Me and Ronnie may have different views on religion but I still love his music. He’s like if Skillet and NF snapped. They’re outcasts to other Christians because they embrace the fact that Christians aren’t perfect and they speak their mind. I feel like Ronnie grew up Christian, but was an outcast like them, but instead of being distant like them, he said fuck it, and changed his beliefs. I’m a proud Christian (Catholic) but I will always respect other people’s religions or even if you’re an atheist.
FiR is one of my favorite bands and has been since I was younger. The way Ronnie ties in real emotion really helped me through some dark times in my own life, like... the dude just kind of makes you feel like you can do anything when you listen to his music. I know he gets a lot of shit, none of it deserved in my opinion. I also think it is absolutely adorable that he puts his daughter in so many of his videos. She's the cutest kid ever.
Falling Reverse has roots in the more Emo Rock, from Ronnie being in Escape the Fate. In Falling in Reverse he does that kind of style mixed with rap and pop.
This is that rock and rap combo. He’s had some eh years but now falling in reverse are killing it You should also check out: Fire from the gods Jake hill Rage against the machine Backwordz For those vibes
This song is more likely about his internal struggles with himself, his actions, and many more variables. Depression, therapy, self-hatred, anger. I think a degree of it is about his daughter finding the truth degree of his past actions. After all, she’s at the end of the video, comforting him after all the pain he caused. You’re not correct but I personally don’t think you’re completely off the mark about his daughter either.
This song really grabbed me. I enjoy a lot from them now that I'm looking into them more and more. Very relatable for me and really like the song a lot even without that.
