Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Stray Kids! They are definitely one of the most unique groups currently in Kpop. Not only is their music hype, they write almost all of it themselves (which isn't as common in kpop). Their discography is huge and covers so many genres of music. A lot of their M/Vs are crazy cinematic, especially Thunderous, Maniac, Case 143, to name a few. They are also about to drop a new album on June 2nd called 5 STAR. They make trailers for each of their new album releases and they are just as cinematic as their M/Vs. They've also done music for KDramas and Anime (the one with the buttery vocals, Seungmin, has also done two solo songs for different KDramas). Fun facts: - Ryan Reynolds is a huge fan (he even did an interview with the leader Bang Chan) - Stray Kids did a Deadpool theme for a live performance on a show called Kingdom: Legendary War which started their friendship - A lot of the members are huge gaming/anime/kdrama nerds and write music based on things they've watched - Felix (deep voice) and Bang Chan/Christopher (chain on his face) are both Australian (from Sydney)
I just have to say, the fact that SKZ popped up when you searched was absolute fate. I know it sounds crazy but we have a saying in stayville "you don't find stray kids, stray kids finds you". This song is what established their sound of loud, noisy and all over the place music and they even pioneered their own genre for the concept known as Malataste (they're credited for it!) They're an 8 member boy group composed of members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungnmin and I.N with no specific roles in regards to what they do in their music. All of their music is written by the members and produced by their own producing unit 3racha (Bang Chan, Changbin and Han), which is not common at all among kpop groups. Stray Kids are currently set to release a new album with a concept on June 2nd, called "5-Star," please look forward to it!

Oh you picked a good one! Stray Kids’ music is addicting. They are extremely talented, producing their own songs (not common in Kpop), with the best 4th generation rap line and great vocals. They are fantastic dancers (unique choreographies), always write meaningful lyrics, and have some of the best production M/Vs in the industry. Plus they are genuinely good people, with astounding work ethic. You must listen to more Stray Kids, I recommend Back Door next simply because it is a sequel to this song, but their discography is huge, so you have a lot of options, so many in fact that you might want to react to 2 songs or more at the time.
Great group to start your kpop journey! Their discography is deep and you’ll be hard pressed to find something bad from this self produced group. All 8 can sing, rap, dance, and write their own songs. I love their talent and creativity and, yes, the visuals don't hurt. 2 of the 8 were born in Australia, one being Felix, the man with the deep voice that grabs everyone in a chokehold. He is the Sunshine of the group. Bang Chan is the oldest at almost 26 and the leader of the group. He's also the main producer of the group and has a hand in almost every single songin their 150+ track discography. If you like cinematography and film editing, then Stray Kids won't disappoint. Kpop it a wonderful place, but to me this group is just a level above so muchof the same. If you enjoy kdrama OSTs, then you'll appreciate that one of the members has 2 solo offerings on a couple of shows and the band has several songs on other soundtracks along with the opening and ending songs for S1 of the anime, "Tower of God." They also produce all of their own music which can be rare in K-pop. Two members are from Australia: Felix and Bangchan. Bangchan is the leader and actually picked all the members himself which never really happens in K-pop. They are definitely a very exciting and captivating group
Well don't expect kpop to be like this. This is literally Stray Kids genre "god's menu/mala taste" as they call it. They are the pioneers of their own genre as they produce and write all of their music on their own, which is rare in kpop.
Because they created a new genre, I'm not surprise there will be more mala sound in the future by different producer. I saw one of the Skz reaction vdio, he is a producer too, he said a lot of his clients demand him to create one song like Thunderous/God's Menu.

They got you 😂 Stray Kids is another level than other groups in K pop. They are unique. They also have one of the best dancer on K pop. He's name is Hyunjin. They have The best choreos and The beat hits you like a big hammer. They have so many good songs. My favorites is couple of unit songs like Red Lights, taste, DLMLU and Hyunjins solo Love Untold. It's difficult pick so you should listen all of them songs 😅

Stray Kids is the group that made me like KPOP music. I tried watching other KPOP groups but I only got hooked with Stray Kids’ music. Their style is just very unique and I love how they usually experiment. And Changbin, I really love his rapping skill (never thought I’ll have a bias, I’m not even a KPOP fan before🥹).
Welcome to Stray Kids! Stray Kids is the first boy group I liked and my second group in Kpop overall. God's Menu wasn't my first Stray Kids song, but it was my first MV. I'm glad that you liked them right off the bat, because I had a hard time adjusting to them at first since Slump was my first Stray Kids song and that song is miles different from God's Menu. The one that stood out to me the most as a new fan was the second rapper, Han, but the first members I was introduced to were your favorites (Changbin, the first rapper and Felix, the guy with the deep voice). Lmao Deep Voice and Rapper guys were the ones who pulled me into Stray Kids as well, 5 years ago already! And imagine that same voice coming from Baby Faced 17yo Felix, I was in love immediately! And Changbin just hit me hard, his flow is just so flawless!
I think Stray Kids is the perfect segue into kpop if you've never heard it before. I'm also just like you - was super into kdramas and then got into kpop after. Felix and Changbin are the ones who caught my eye at first too and they're now my (ult) biases! Welcome to the world of Stray Kids. :)

BTS is a good group to look into as well because their discography is huge and they will have a song for everyone because of all the genres they have. They also go into many topics about mental health and social problems. Their English tracks are poppy and fun, but lack the depth that their Korean tracks bring and ultimately the reason why everyone loves BTS

Most group members also do solo albums often when members are required to do Military Service! I'm a 69 yrs old Aussie who has followed the history of rock reggae + other genres from the 60's a lover of great music, lyrics, theatre and dance!
