Changbin is actually the one who helped Hyunjin develop his rap style and coaches his during most recordings! Chan doesnt really rap much unless the whole song is rap or its a 3racha song. Stray Kids have a lot of love songs but this was their first love themed title track and album!
Chan still helped hyunjin. U can see that on their skz talker maniac tour, how chan teach hyunjin with his rythm on venom, and on stage chan helped him with wish you back cover. Just like hyunjin said chan is his music teacher, so does changbin.
Actually, you just interpreted a lot of their songs as romantic love songs. Which is indeed the goal of the group, to leave the meaning of the song open to interpretation. In both the lyrics and MVS. Not only that, but when the song does have an MV. They will normally give the MV a different concept and message than the same they had when writing the song. This is literally to keep them from forcing their own meaning on you. All of which is to allow their music to be that much more relatable. For example... one in which it's easy to see what I mean, is with "Red Lights". So, for the members, the lyrics are about obsession when it comes to their mental and physical NEED to make music. The meaning for the MV however, is a bit different as they use two people to portray two sides of the same person. Each side struggling to be free themselves of the confines the other side of their split personality had them in. They used the sexy concept because it not only fit, but because they knew the fans would love it. But that doesn't mean the song was abbiut a toxic relationship between lovers. Yes, that is how many people decided for themselves that's what they felt when they first saw it. What it basically comes down to, is whether or not they saw it as a love song... That is not an⁶ up to us, and is not based on the interpretations we made of their lyrics or their MVs. By definition, the meaning is set before they ever even release it. He's the important factor.... ALL of their songs that you have interpreted as being of the romantic love song variety, as not actually of that variety. They are songs about work, music, the love for a best friend or even a dog. lol Only Maxident actually had love songs, and even then they were SKZ on unique take on them.

Yes he did help hyunjin but I find it weird how you would comment this when nowhere in the videos does he ask “who helped hyunjin with his rapping?”. My guess is you commented this because his favorite rapper is Hyunjin and some stays find that hard to digest and try to bring him down a little bit by basically saying its not his work and talent it’s actually Changbin’s or Chan’s. Changbin has power. Han has finesse. Hyunjin is just so fluid with it. All of them can do all of the other things at any time, but it'll always come back (for me) as to just the way each delivers in a different way. There is actually an old "Intro" video where I think it was Changbin (don't quote me) speaking of Hyunjins rapping style and it being a set thing that they no longer tried to influence how he delivered, because when Hyunjin is just doing his own thing, it is its' own special vibe. I don't have a fav SKZ member anymore. There are often fav parts in a song, but truly each member is unique in its own way
New fans are often misinformed by some guides when it comes to 3racha. 3racha as a Stray Kids subunit is the producer line, NOT the rap line. However, 3racha as a standalone group on its own is a rap trio. Most guides fail to make this distinction so new fans end up expecting Chan to rap or ask "what about Felix and Hyunjin?" In earlier years, it gets more confusing since we sometimes get a singing Han (and he's bloody good at it) and a rapping Lee Know (I miss rapper Lee Know). Currently, they have divided the team evenly into vocals (Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin, I.N) and raps (Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, Felix). But we still get singing Han because he's just awesome. I agree with you that objectively, Changbin and Han are on equal footing, it just depends on your personal preference who you like more. There's actually a YT channel that compiles and breaks down various rap verses in Kpop, and this was the conclusion he arrived at. Of course, Hyunjin is a solid rapper too and in my opinion, he's the next best one in the group after Changbin and Han.
Honestly Han stuck out to me at the beginning because of his rap tone and facial expressions. He is paired with Chan for my bias. I can't choose between them.🥺💖
Easy and Double Knott are two of my favorite SKZ songs that highlight Hyunjin's rap style. Yes, he has the best side-eye ever. Chan raps when he's part of 3Racha or if they do a SZK song where all the member's rap. He's letting the others shine but also Changbin, Han, Hyungin and Felix are considered the Rap Line. The other 4 are the Vocal line along plus Han who is their ACE so has been part of both Lines since pre-debut.
Just want to let you know that the rap line is Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, and Felix. Bangchan mostly rapped when 3Racha was a group before SKZ. However, this is why they don’t have positions anymore, everyone can rap, everyone can dance, and everyone can sing. You really really need to actually go through every song so you can get a clearer picture of this group. I know everyone always suggest their more popular songs to reactors, but I always say you have to hit their music from the beginning.
Case143 Was from their last Korean comeback from the Maxident album back in October. SKZ had A full Japanese album in February with the title track called The Sound and it has a M/V for it as well. Lee Know is the one popping his head through the wall made of wood (it's a reference to the shinning). We love crop top chan, especially in uniform! I commend you for not reacting or listening to the track teasers for the upcoming album! I think you should wait and not get spoil it for yourself so you can listen to it from start to finish blindly! My willpower is not strong enough and Stayville is constantly spoiling track teasers on tik tok and Twitter ect it's impossible to avoid for a month. Great reaction as always!

We definitely don’t get nearly enough of Chan rapping, the majority of it was pre-debut in the 3racha tracks (I’m currently obsessed with Scene Stealer, there’s just something about them rapping to smooth jazz that’s super unique and it’s an absolute banger of a song). Otherwise you’ll have to check out the songs We Go, The Tortoise and the Hare, Just Breath (this a collab with the Japanese artist SKY-HI), N/S, Zone, and Heyday (this was made for the Street Man Fighter OST).
Going back and forth on who impresses you the most is a good sign, every member is that good. As a VIP (BIGBANG) G-Dragon is my bias but I love the other members equally. The same goes with choosing a favourite song, it’s just impossible, they are all so good. It took me a while to find another group that satisfied me like BIGBANG. I went from 2nd generation to 4th generation with Stray Kids, there’s about a 5 year difference in age between each generation so BIGBANG is 10 years older than Stray Kids. I am now a Stay as well, I can’t get enough of them. They are all extremely talented and it’s impossible to choose favourite songs, I love them all. My bias has been from the start Hyunjin. I keep thinking what a great collaboration it would be with G-Dragon and Hyunjin. There is already a connection when Hyunjin and Felix did the “Vibe” dance challenge with Taeyang of BIGBANG. They say Taeyang is the best dancer of Kpop and of course I love Taeyang, I’m a VIP after all but I truly believe that Hyunjin is now the best dancer of Kpop.
Han writes most of Hyunjin's raps, that's why they sound so good. In terms of writing lyrics specially the rhyming schemes I don't think any rapper in this generation comes near Han.
I think the only kpop rapper who's on the same level as Han in terms of rhyme schemes is Mino from Winner. But Winner is a 3rd gen group and Skz is 4th gen so yeah no one comes close to Han in 4th gen, that man is insane.

The man has an ear for music production the likes of which I have never seen. Plus his ability to actually arrange music bc that shit is very technical. Lol Changbin, he's a mix of smaller talents that comes together to form the bulk of composition and song structure/building. He comes up with amazing at writing melodies, and unique song structure. Truly gifted. On top of that, he writes such complicated raps and is able to put SO MUCH yet JUST ENOUGH meaning into his verses. Don't even get me started on his ability to come up with and place Adlibs, or his ability to structure the verse to accommodate his wild rhythm patterns, The lyrics and somehow their meaning too lol and of course the adlibs... all without sacrificing style and flare. As for Han. 🩶 Han could rip the heart out of any mere mortals chest, look into its depths as though it's a crystal ball, and then hand it back to you in the form of song lyrics. You wouldn't even question the sorcery involved... But your loved ones would find you bawling historically in a dark corner, having completely lost your mind 🥹 trying to origami fold those lyrics back into a heart.... 😟because you will die without that song back inside your chest 🥺 where it truly belongs 😥 locked behind the bars of your ribs 😢where it can both be protected and do the protecting 😭 forever and always!😫 Don't look at me like that! That’s not why they sound good.. they sound good because of Hyunjins flow and tone. The fact that they are written by han has nothing to do with it since 3racha writes everyone’s parts.. don’t credit han for Hyunjins talent

i know a ton of people bias hyunjin (he's the most biased in the group) but i've never seen someone have him as one of their favorites simply because of his rapping, so this is a nice change

Han is my ultimate bias and I'm sooo glad you notice him more now. His rapping, singing and dancing is just amazing. He's also a damn good producer and the funniest member with Lee know in my opinion. Hyunjin usually gets praised for his dance (best in kpop now for me)and his visuals, you and another reactor, Teddy Grey, are different in that you noticed his rap. I dont disagree.
I'm not sure about the beat (i probably don't pick up on that stuff very well), but the chorus structure I feel like is super similar to Maniac. Starting with felix then repeating it with Hyunjin, which is what they did in Maniac. Reminds me of how God's Menu opens with Changbin then Han, which is similar to how the beginning of Thunderous goes. As a Han bias...I do look forward to you seeing how very VERY funny he is when you do your compliation.

case 143 is their first proper love song, but they still have other songs based around relationships like mixtape: oh, dlmlu, sorry i love you, there and ex (and a few more), their most recent albums (maxident and the sound) are much more love song heavy than their albums usually are
stray kids have quite a few love songs ! although most of them reflect the feeling of a break up/hurt in a relationship or an unobtainable one... "sorry i love you" is written by changbin and expresses feeling love towards someone and being apologetic about not getting over them. "winter falls" was written by HAN and conveys the process of trying to navigate life after the end of a relationship they really have songs for everything, that's what i love about them. they tend to write from experiences or whatever they have inspiration from and its amazing!
I love the appreciation for Hyunjin's rapping skills cuz my boy worked his ass off and probably still does to this day to constantly improve them. My personal fav is Changbin still, but I love when people appreciate Hyunjin for his skills and not just his face ( face which is to be appreciated tho, don't get me wrong 🥴)
I think the best way to know who your favorite rapper, vocalist, dancer etc is would be to watch live performances since that’s when you can see them in their true element. Bc m/v's and studio versions doesn’t rly do them justice if you compare it to the energy they bring to a live stage.
It's impossible to chose a favourite in SKZ, they're all super talented in their own way. Like you said, they all bring something different to the group and that's why their music is so diverse and complete. You can have a favourite at the moment but it'll keep changing. At least it's the case for me because they all bias-wrecked me several times so at this point I gave up on having a bias. I would say that these days Han is the one who's getting into me the most but like I said it keeps changing so I don't know how long it'll last until another one takes the front line for me..

I feel like you might enjoy watching their album intro videos at some point. The Maxident Intro was pretty interesting because they spoke about exploring love as an album topic for the first time and why they decided to try it. Plus it's just cool to get the behind on some of the track making approaches.

The only way I can think to describe it is Changbin's rap style is more sharp? Like more sharp and jabby. More machine gun style. Where as Han's is more...swaggy? (Feels strange to use that word unironically) it's also has a rounder feel. More away and flow. Definitely one of my favorite things about SKZ is how perfectly equally talented they all are but in very different ways. Due to this they make such a perfect team as they all help and love each other so much and you can feel that in their music. Not to mention just how freaking hard they worked to get to where they are. And even with the crazy amount of success they've had they're still all genuinely so kind and sweet and humble. Not to mention fuckin' hilarious 😂 I love them and look up to all of them sm.

I think you'll soon realise you don't have a full favourite with skz...they all start to become your favourite...I'll always have a bit of a softer spot for Bang Chan, Han and Changbin only because of how much they've done for skz and outside of skz...but I feel bad even saying that cause they're all so talented
