Always loved Megadeth more than Metallica. I saw a reaction video where they said Metallica where more technicaly proficient, but Megadeth were more artisticaly proficient. I think this maybe close to the truth.

Megadeth is more proficient technically. Metallica is better at appealing to greater numbers. More songwriters than players.

Megadeth are great. Metallica are also great. "Better" makes no sense, imo. As a guitarist I personally prefer Megadeth, but as a music fan I love both bands - just imagine having to travel back in time and deciding whether Metallica or Megadeth should keep existing, knowing the impact they´ve had on metal/music history.

Marty is from the area where I'm from in Maryland. I remember seeing him in a local band called deuce way back in the day. Great guitar player

@@garyalan4213 I Saw him for the 1st time in 1985 at a little club called the big dipper in Beltsville, Maryland. He was an exceptional player even back then. A year or so later his band was opening for Queensryche at a place called The Bayou in Georgetown.

@@garyalan4213 We all played in local Maryland bands back then, myself included and we all used to go see each other's bands. Even back then he was an exceptional guitar player.

Luke Not Skywalker, That’s good to know. The last time I listened to a live performance he sounded like he was really struggling. It would be magnificent if he regains what he lost! Having said that, he’s got so much more to offer than just a singing voice. I mean what a talented man. I even just like to hear him talk. He’s had an interesting life and has overcome a lot.

Monica D. Brini He will never return to 100% obviously but he has much improved since getting over it.. They did a brief tour after he got better and he was still a little groggy but he would find those notes again during the tour.. He will always be deeper vocally simply because of age he is nearly 60 now.. He was never a singer first always a guitarist.. Most bands tend to have people who have singing as their main role.. Mustaine has so much more to deal with.. That’s why his vocals are the only thing that makes sense over Megadeth music. 👌
