Biggie is like a 7 point ninja star..He had: Flow (fast and melodic) Hooks Lyrical dexterity with Battle lyrics, Gangsta lyrics, Pimp smooth lyrics Storytelling Distinct Voice Presence Charisma So if one point on the star don't hit you 3 or 4 others will fuck you up and leave you laying dead on the floor.

On songs like this one and "Gimme the Loot" BIG Did all the voices in the track, reminiscent of Slick Rick's story telling style, complete with dramatized voices of different characters.. BIG was a MASTER story teller, among so many other things!

Your reaction to this song is how we all reacted back in 93 when this came out. Producer was Easy Mo Bee. He did about half the tracks on the first album including "Gimmie the Loot". "The What", "Things done change", "Everyday struggle". By the second album they moved away from him cuz they wanted less head knocker beats and puff wanted to use all his own people to control publishing right and keep the money within the bad boy roster.

When ready to die dropped in sept 94 this song and the joint with method man could be heard in so many cars in NYC Biggie had a different style that the average NYC rappers didn't have during that time and everyone was drawn to it Gangsta rap from the east coast version

@@PRSPR yea while dre, snoop, and ice cube was giving that west coast gangsta rap scarface was giving us that southern version and big that east coast version...gangster rap was at the forefront of hip hop during the early to mid nineties and pac with all the trouble and court cases he was going thru was the poster boy for it!!!

Scarface ending. Say hello to my little friend. That song right there. The best way to listen to is on a good as system. Even tho I was and aways will be a 2pac fan. I never slept on Biggie. Poppa is a g.o.a.t. Both are. And honestly it's hard to say who was the best cause they both are genius. This one right here is a classic tho.

You’re so right about that ending. I can’t wait til I get a whip that has a good speaker system, it’ll definitely change the driving experience for sure. I respect that fam, it’s definitely hard to say who was the best because they both did certain things better than each other but at a level that not many could replicate. That's why the video's a bit weird, it cuts out the bit at the end where two dudes are sneaking into Biggie's compound. They're whispering and shit then Big takes them out before they realise what's happening. The whole thing is taken as him being woken far too early, and his homie Pop is perhaps a little concerned, but Big is more mad and disappointed than anything else. He gets a few minutes of venting before he's like "Oh yeah, guess I better go kill these guys."

Yeah video shows either ended or edited out the final scenes in the 90s cause of time constraints. They wanted to continuously play videos plus there was no music in the end. You'd be surprised how many video endings where never shown there's more.

Biggie smalls...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥plz get this song on your channel...you only herd Biggie radio 📻 hits... back then rappers had to cater to the sensitive people plus kids would listen to the radio so rappers back then had to make soft music as far as ppl listening to the single...that was the only way rappers was going to get rotation on the radio stations.. the radio station would cut your song up if it wasn’t radio “friendly”...this is before RU-vid came along and change the content.
