As a long time Etrac user I would recommend running in auto +3. Auto +3 at a sens of 24 or whatever will be more stable and deeper than a manual sens of 24. On deep coins keep an eye out for the FE to drop as low as 01. For instance a ID of 01-48 would have me excited. Good luck

Nice vid. A few stores are running these out in Australia at the moment for like $559 usd, so I grabbed one today. Looking forward to taking it out and trying it against the Nox.

Hey Tim, not a bad haul for first run out with the new E-trac. That is a great machine, there is a definite learning curve to it but in time you will realize what all the hype was about for them,. Cant wait to see more vids with it and the great finds coming! Thanks for the shout out much appreciated! I am glad your happy with it..

When I first started looking and researching machines a few years ago, I seriously contemplated getting that machine. The 800 just came out and I ended up getting it instead. Still wouldn't mind owning one myself. Thanks for sharing the hunt. 👍

Same here but i never wanted to pay $1500..So i waited for 15 years ..haha..It's heavy but i don't mind...I get a shoulder workout and i like to swing slow anyways...

To this day the Etrac still has the sweetest high tone on deep silver of any metal detector ever made. Too bad Minelab didn't keep that sound in the machines that followed. The Etrac was a game changer, I have two. But nowadays its slow recovery speed makes it tough in hunted out parks. An Equinox or Deus II will outperform it because they will unmask targets that the Etrac missed. However, it's still to see that an Etrac can get the job done.

I’d say that was a fine hunt. Even on a average day I usually don’t get a haul like that. Nice machine, looks as if your experience with the SE has made for somewhat of a smooth early transition, as far as tones/mummers go maybe.

Thanks...It's similiar to the explorer but seems to be way more powerful and sensitive...That pattern i was in is a lose pattern and you will hear alot more junk but goes deeper than a tighter pattern..

I believe my next machine is going to be the legend for less then $500 hundred dollars you can’t beat that if it’s any thing like the simplex that is a steal in my opinion the only downside is the weight from swinging the sp 24 and the minelab vanquish it feels a lot lighter then that 11 inch coil so I am going to see if I can get a deal were they include the 6 inch coil for the Legend. Can’t wait until you get your first silver with the E track

Ya i almost got a Legend last week but didn't like that the $425 price went back up to $499...So i got the E-TRAC instead...Went out today for the second time with it and got 4 silvers in a heavily trashy spot...I'm blown away...That video will be nect week sometime...Good luck with The Legend if you get it..

@@WeirdGuyInPark that is great i was a member on Reddit and there was a guy that was using the E trac and he had some impressive silvers for the year including a Morgan dollar in which I have yet to find I remember he said it was like 12 inches crazy and the guy from Newyork you no him I seen you commented on his site before he also found some deep silver but of course with him he moves from one detector to the next new one man I don’t no how they afford them I make close to a hundred grand a year and I can barely afford a $600 hundred dollar machine and I cook at home 5 days a week and only got one new vehicle

@@WeirdGuyInPark love merril he digs those deep iron objects like me I found some cool stuff including a 1790 pistol when I first pulled it out of the great depths of the earth it had a funny look to it and after I soaked it in gasoline for a few days I noticed it was a old pistol of course the wooden handle was long gone lol
