The secret to Mikes awesome power is how he spring loads his weight into the corresponding leg & is able to draw all of the leverage pushing through the glutes all the way through his feet like they’re rooted deeply like a tree’s. I studied his technique & implemented it into my fighting style & those hooks & uppercuts are devastating.
Don't forget he's also a lefty, fighting orthodox stance, so those lead left hooks ooeeefffff... and when he shifts suddenly he's southpaw and has momentum added to his already perfect punch.. it's kind of ridiculous really
Young people today have NEVER seen a fighter like we did watching Mike Tysons whole career!!! Mike is a different type of human being!!! Great video buddy!!
Love seeing people react to Iron Mike if they havent seen him before. I grew up watching Mike. The dude was a killer up until Don King got involved, and Cus passed away. Before those two things happened....Mike was the best boxer to ever live. I firmly believe this is as good as a boxer ever got.
Yep...he wasn't brutalizing no-name boxers...he was beating up established pros! I watched many of those fights on cable live (I miss the days when PPV wasn't common yet)
Tyson was a bully and street enforcer until he met cos D'Amato his first and most important trainer check the documentary Mike Tyson the baddest man alive
Mike Tyson wasn't a bully or a street enforcer. It was the opposite actually. He was bullied and abused as a child. His mom was a addict and used to beat him and allowed her boyfriends to beat him. He ran away at 11, lived on the street and was arrested a few times for stealing. He met Cus D'Amato when he was 12. He was in Juvie and one of the guards was a boxing instructor who was friends with Cus. That's how they met. Cus started working with him, took him into his home, and eventually legally adopted him.
I remember going to Mike Tyson fight parties! Ya better get you drink and popcorn before the fight cause they rarely went pass the first min of the 1st round!! Lol!
The frank Bruno KO.... notice Mike gave Bruno (or Bruno let mike) a slight tap with the same punch that next delivered with verosity/velocity.... this let Mike and Bruno act out the sequence of this fight being fixed.... watch closely 😮
I honestly think the only guy that ever beat Mike Tyson WAS Mike Tyson. If he had managed to avoid the out of the ring problems he had, he would have been unstoppable.
How much would I fight Mike Tyson in his prime for? Well... I dont really remember how long it took me to learn to tie my shoes or write my name. But I dont wanna have to relearn those ever. So in summary, theres no amount of money I'd take for stepping into the ring with that beast.
Arturo Gatti vs. Micky Ward - Most Brutal Boxing Trilogy EVER! That video is the best boxing you will see. These two were friends but fought like they wanted to KILL each other. They fought three times and went 10 rounds every time. Check it out!
Mike Tyson could knock any heavyweight out with the right or left, upper cut, cross or hook, hell, he could probably knock out most people with a jab. One of the greatest fighters ever. He had everything, except size. He was very short for a heavyweight, but with that punching power, it didn’t matter. If you want to see one of the most viscous, most perfect punches ever, check out the Rocky Marciano vs. Jersey Joe Walcott. That was a fight where Jersey Joe was the better boxer and was ahead on points, he just needed to stay away from Rocky and he had the win. Knowing he needed a knockout to win, Rocky delivered one of the most powerful right hooks ever thrown. Jersey Joe’s head snaps like his neck was broken. He’s lucky it didn’t kill him. Rocky wouldn’t even be a heavyweight today, maybe a light heavyweight or maybe lighter. I believe he only weighed about 185 when he fought Walcott, who was larger than Rocky, but Marciano had some serious punching power, like Mike Tyson, but in a smaller body. Mike Tyson tied Marciano’s undefeated record, but was knocked out by Buster Douglas on the night Tyson would have broken the record.
Hi, just came by to sub because I watch from somewhere/thing else. I also wanted to say that it is nice to see that you found Carlin, Football and Queen. lol For comedy you should check out Mitch Hedberg and/or Steven Wright if you thought Carlin's mind was different. =) As for football, well. Ultras, our way of life if you want to see what it's all about. The series Welcome to Wrexham is a brilliant way to see what's behind it all. Music? David Bowie, a space oddity. If you want more like Bohemian Rhapsody ... Anyway, fun channel, fun real person, well done. I watched a LOT of reactions. =) Greetings from Amsterdam. Edit: Oh yeah, I hope Mike beats the snot out of Jake Paul.
It’s always said that Mike Tyson is like the pitbull sitting in the room and nobody knows who owns it. You don’t wanna get near it. You don’t wanna touch it. You don’t wanna look at it because it might snap. Mike Tyson is the goat. they had to get guys bigger than him because if you see the video of him with guys his size, he knocks him out so fast there ain’t no fight guys his size can’t compete and as far as him being 58 years old it don’t matter he still iron Mike he still got them hands watch what happens.
I don't think I've seen that one but I'm a huge Tyson fan so I've already seen a lot but I'll check it out myself. I just hope that he removes Jake's head from his body.
@@chirsmma3289 the guy claims he's so great for the sport of boxing and he's done nothing except turn it into a masquerade. I'm sorry I just feel like he's a little b****for not fighting through the ranks and proving himself in his weight division.
@@andrewk2000 he is. I don’t even know why he took the Tyson fight it’s a loose loose. The one time he fights a decent boxer he looses. And then goes back to fighting retired legends
To be honest I have a background in karate and can handle myself but tyson in his prime I would not last past first round. He is still an animal when he fights now
Not so fun fact.... 17:00 After the Bruce Seldon knockout when Tyson was on his way to the locker room he stopped for a minute to talk to Tupac who was at the fight with Suge Knight. Less than an hour later, Tupac got shot. How wild is the thought that if Bruce Seldon didn't get knocked out in less than 3 minutes, Tupac would be alive today?
Tyson was the best in his prime but at the end of his career he struggled. If I was a betting person I'd take Paul strictly because of the age difference. We're not going to see the young Tyson in this fight regardless of Tysons great level of fitness at almost 60
I'd do 50 mill to get knocked out by Mike.. no way there is 2 rounds... I just guard till my lights got knocked out.. might talk like Mike but at least I got 50 Million
keep in mind a good portion of his kos were first round.. a lot in the first minute .. tyson was also short for a heavyweight but was knocking out and putting fear in the hearts of grown men at 15 years old.. with all that said he did come up at what many say was one of the weakest times of the heavyweight division… the larry holmes fight was payback for muhammad ali that tyson promised to avenge when holmes took the title from a past his prime ali.
also it’s not really showing in the video but tyson always had a sensitive side and after quite a few of his wins you’d see him run over and try to hold the guy up or help him up.. he was only a vicious animal in the ring and between the bells
