He isn’t starving. If he was he would be trying harder to eat the fruit. She is making him learn to do it himself, which is important to his growing and learning for his age. And he has always had a tremor. There was a video explaining it, but it’s been months since I saw it so I’m unsure which one it was.

They get water a lot as shown in other videos. However, while eating fruit they are getting water in the juice. Sometimes we don’t want something out in front of us to eat, animals are no different and pears are new to him apparently. He’s learning.
They need to learn how to access their food. They need to feel accomplished when they manage to do it themselves. Though they are much like human babies, they are in the end, monkeys. And they need “jobs”.
Why? He is perfectly capable of accessing it himself. He would do it in the wild and will need to know how as he gets older. He’s a monkey, not human, despite how similar they are. This family takes extremely good care of their babies. If she needed to cut it up, I’m sure she would.
