First time on a Canoe (Old Town Next) 

Hey Everyone! Just wanted to share my experience using an Oldtown Canoe for the very first time. This canoe is a kayak/canoe hybrid so you can paddle it with a double bladed paddle. Its Primary stability is a little tipsy but the secondary stability is quite nice. Its quick and fast on the water. Tracks very straight and require very little energy to paddle. I look forward to adding a canoe to my boat garage.
I had the chance to race a kayak on the water. To be fair it wasn't an even match up since since the Canoe has such a smooth and flat bottom. Kayak has a lot more uneven surfaces for transducer mount and scupper holes which cause more drag ect. It was a fun race against the Jackson Kayak Liska regardless.
